I decided to move away from the use of tropical signs and houses in Astrology. I definitely don't want to use tropical zodiac for people born in the southern hemisphere where the tropical zodiac seasons don't even apply.

I have been thinking how I can relate to the tropical zodiac sign placements

I have been trying figure out equivalents

I want to focus on only the planetary geometry which Cosmobiologists,Uranian Astrologers, and Magi Astrologers, and so that would include the midpoints which they do use. I also want to focus on the planetary nodes which Theodor Landscheidt and Zipporah Dobyns used. Theodor Landsheidt also used golden aspects based on golden ratios. Cosmobiologists and Magi Astrologers also use the declinations extensively too,and I already have been using those regularly for years. Astronomical oriented astrologers like Philip Sedgwick use perigree/apogee and perihelion/aphelion too as well as centaurs(Chiron is one of many),kuiper belt objects(Pluto is one of many). They also use the nodes of heavenly bodies other than the Moon.

I can relate to:

Ascendant in Virgo:
Chiron parallel Ascendant - '20,Hygeia contraparallel Ascendant - '20.........Hygeia is a big asteroid named after the Goddess of Health.....some astrologers think Chiron fits with Virgo

Midheaven in Gemini:
Uranus semisquare Mercury/Midheaven - '31

North Node in Aquarius - North Node oppose Saturn/Uranus - '16, Ascendant square Uranus/Node - '33

Sun in Scorpio:
Sun contraparallel Pluto - '42, Sun in golden aspect to Pluto - '05, Sun conjunct Jupiter/Pluto - '46, Sun square Pluto/Midheaven - '42,Sun Moon sesquiquadrate Sun/Pluto - '05, Pluto square Sun/Mars - '14, Sun contraparallel plutino,Orcus - '01,Sun conjunct plutino,Ixion - '05.....Plutinos orbit like Pluto for they have 3:2 orbital resonance with Neptune...all 3 objects are named for mythological underworld,death-oriented characters

Moon in Pisces:
Moon square Neptune - 1'22, Moon oppose Saturn/Neptune - '17, Moon sextile Sedna (named after Inuit Sea Goddess - 1'04 ('03 if using 3D True body aspects), Moon square the cubewano,Varuna - '10 (named after Vedic God of the Oceans)

Mercury in Scorpio:
Mercury in golden aspect to Pluto - '00, Mercury sextile South Pluto Node - '02

Venus in Scorpio,Pluto in Libra :
I have Venus square Mars(traditional ruler of Scorpio). Venus trine North Pluto Node - '31,
Pluto semisquare Venus/Node - '17, Midheaven sesquiquadrate Venus/Pluto - '05, Venus sesquiquadrate Pluto/Eris - '14

Mars in Aquarius:
Mars is in the constellation of Aquarius, Sun semisquare Mars/Uranus - '15,Uranus trine North Mars Node - '38, Uranus oppose Mars/Saturn - '13, Uranus sesquiquadrate Moon/Mars - '45

Jupiter in Sagittarius :
Jupiter trine Chiron - 2'15,Jupiter trine Jupiter Perigree - '10, Jupiter trine Chiron Apogee - '56.....Some astrologers believe that Chiron fits with Sagittarius like Maritha Pottenger

Saturn in Gemini:
Mercury contraparallel Saturn - '38, Mercury sextile South Saturn Node - '20, Mars oppose Mercury/Saturn - '50

Neptune in Sagittarius:
Jupiter semisquare Neptune/Asc - '39, Neptune semisquare Mars/Jupiter - '17, Jupiter sextile Neptune - 1'41 in 9th harmonic chart

I have been thinking how I can relate to the house placements

Sun in 2nd,near 3rd house cusp:
Sun trine Mercury - 2'57 in 9th harmonic

Moon in 6th:
not sure

Mercury in 3rd:
Mercury conjunct Mercury Apogee - '03, Mercury conjunct/oppose Aphelion/Perihelion - '09 in heliocentric chart

Venus in 3rd:
Mercury conjunct Venus - 3'26, Mercury parallel Venus - '13, Venus sesquiquadrate Mercury/Mars - '19, Mercury sextile North Venus Node - '33

Mars in 6th:
not sure

Jupiter in 3rd:
Mercury oppose Jupiter - '32 in 9th harmonic chart, Mercury conjunct Jupiter - 2'54 in heliocentric chart

Saturn in 9th:
Saturn oppose Jupiter/Neptune - '05,Jupiter oppose Saturn/Midheaven - '06

Uranus in 2nd:
Uranus semisquare Venus/Jupiter - '15

Neptune in 3rd:
Mercury parallel Neptune, Mercury conjunct Sun/Neptune - '14, Mars square Mercury/Neptune - '50, Mercury trine Neptune - 1'08 in 9th harmonic chart

Pluto in 1st:
Pluto square Sun/Mars - '14, Ascendant square Mars/Pluto - '04

Glaucus - Not sure about your experience but I moved away from Sidereal Astrology (Vedic) after I found so many inaccuracies. Thus far, my experience with Tropical (Western) has been pretty good in relationships and understanding the Sun and Moon psyche.

Why would you move away from Sidereal astrology and Houses? Have you found it to be a complete BS?

Well..I have been very accurate with them. However, there is such thing as the Forer effect which is the tendency of people to rate sets of statements as highly accurate for them personally even though the statements could apply to many people.

I am not moving away from Sidereal...I don't use Sidereal. I am moving away from Tropical.

I just don't feel comfortable using tropical signs for people born in southern hemisphere because tropical zodiac signs are based on the northern hemisphere seasons.

also there are 13 constellations on the Ecliptic. The constellations don't have an equal 30 degrees like the Sidereal and Tropical Zodiacs do.

My Sun is in the Virgo constellation even though it's in Libra in Sidereal Zodiac and Scorpio in Tropical Zodiac

My Jupiter-IC conjunction is in the constellation of Ophiuchus even though it's in Scorpio in Sidereal Zodiac and Sagittarius in Tropical Zodiac

Cosmobiologists don't use houses. They do quite well without house system. The oldest house system is the whole house system used by the Vedic Astrologers.

I am not comfortable with the precession. We say that Tropical Zodiac is based on the seasons and not constellations, but over 2,000 years ago, the tropical zodiac signs were aligned with the constellations.

I also want to reiterate that I don't believe that the Astrological systems are wrong. I am just not comfortable with them any more. I am reconsidering things just like I reconsider things when I converted from an Astrology skeptic.

I thought Vedic Astrology was accurate but it has so many additional things that Western Astrologers don't use like nakshatras and various lagnas as well as reading charts from the position of the moon aka Chandra Lagna. There are even divisions of Vedic Astrology too like the Krisnamurti system.
