The Moon isn't making any major aspects with any of the planets on your chart. Though interestingly, it is right on the Midheaven.

If you read http://www.skyscript.co.uk/aspects2.html it describes an unaspected Moon as the sense of feeling out touch with your emotions, your family and roots. Of course being on the MC your Moon is opposite your IC, the angle representing family and roots.

There are lots of interpretations about Moon conjunct Midheaven, here's one:

http://rugdeeaustralia.tripod.com/id18.html

Moon conjunct Midheaven

On some level, [even subconsciously] you are likely to crave some form of recognition for your achievements in the world. You are also likely to be very sensitive about your role in public, and may seek a sense of security from your chosen profession. This placement can suggest that you choose a profession in which you look after others, a caring role perhaps. Your mother may have had a strong influence on your life direction. Whatever profession you care to select, you may discover that catering to the needs of females, or promoting products and services more concerned with female interests would have a better chance of success than those more male oriented. There may also be a fair amount of fluctuations experienced in your work or your career. With the Moon as the most elevated planet in your chart you are endowed with an innate skill in terms of having the ability to appeal to the public, possessing the capacity to sway the minds of the public. Should you ever feel the desire to stand for the local community, local council, public speaking or politics, you might surprise yourself at just how effective your words can be on others. Knowing this might just tip the scales in overcoming any fearfulness encountered when asked to speak in front of an audience, bringing your hidden talents into focus and enabling you to maximise your hidden potential.

Not that I can really add much except someone to compare it to, but my dad has his Sun (2nd house), Mercury (retrograde, 2nd house), Mars (2nd house), and Pluto (2nd house) in Virgo. He also has Leo Rising.

He has absolutely no problems with communicating. Everyone always looks at him to speak at random events even if he knows nothing about it. He can talk his way through anything and make it sound believable. He loves the attention too.

I am not a Virgo sun. I'm a Leo sun (11th house), with Mercury (12th house), Venus (1st house), and Mars in Virgo (1st house) along with my ascendant.

I'm much more introverted than my Dad. It's not that I'm not capable of communicating because I am when I'm forced or feel the need to. He just comes off much more "warm" than me.

Comparisons are helpful, I think, like here, on VirgoLeorising's chart Mars and Mercury are also in the second house. Mercury rules the house of communication, the third. Sun is in Mercury's sign, Virgo.

But there are some differences - the chart ruler, the Sun, falls into the third house, as does Pluto. These planets work together, and trine Saturn. Thinking about how all these energies work together my gut instinct is that expressing your inner self is of profound importance, so much so that you are very selective in how you do this, and maybe, you try too hard. Words have to matter. Mercury also trines Saturn, but at 7 degrees, though I would think you still feel this.

Uranus is also in the third house. Here's a quote for you on this placement from Bill Herbst's "Houses of the Horoscope":

"Others aren't quite certain what to expect from you verbally. Just when they think they've got you pegged, you'll surprise them with some statement from lef field, or a perverse twist in your style of delivery."

This could work in your favour. Despite the tension Uranus makes with Saturn, it makes a semi-sextile to both Mars and Venus, and sextile to the Ascendant.

You have the Saturn Opposite Neptune of our generation. It's wide here, but it's not a great aspect, as I have cause to know. Here you have the Sun/Pluto opposition thrown into the mix, so it gets some personal influence. It makes a Trine (to Saturn) and a Sextile (to Neptune) which sounds like it is all easy, but as I have a Moon/Pluto on my chart in a similar configuartion may I humbly suggest it is not necessarily the case and can take time to figure out. Do you write? A journal or some form of venting of thought and expression might be helpful, I find it so. With Pluto you have things bubbling under the surface. Combined with the Sun this is expression of your true self needing some positive outlet to prevent implosion.

thank u thank u thank u. very revealing stuff...i did want to be in the public eye when young, but i got older, just a pipe dream... 2 kids, 4 year custody battle(HORRIBLE), 2 divorces, abuse, lupus and a self inflicted seperation from my immediate family has made me shy from anyone noticing me...i love to have that carefree girl back, but gone. i only write when the moon is full ( i call my journal Full Moon Madness), always have been a writer but my perfectionist side throws away any attempt to expression,my daughter wants to be an author now...passing the torch will live through her i suppose.

not very close to women, keep the company of men mostly, i like to be closer, but abused as a child and all women in my family (except for my beautiful cancerian aunt) never really protected me. always sent me home knowing what father and mother did.

you guys are fantastic thank you for caring.

by the way to the person that said that when i talk people listen i can be a force to reckon with, but feel most of the time people think i'm too "know it ally". i love helping people thats why i work in a hospital...not a nurse i'm more behind the scenes in the materials area (supplies)it suits me very well

thank u again

please keep writing when u can

Be nice HunkofRope.

You have your personal criteria of assessing intelligence and it does not necessarily have to be the one that majorities use.

Just as there are all sorts of geniuses - artistic, mathematical, etc. There are different types of intelligences also, IQ, EQ etc. Maybe you were the stupid one compared to the person with Virgo/Mercury(r) because they were on a frequency you didn't understand. Maybe.

I apologize for going off topic. But this is a new person who is sincerely asking for some constructive answers, and we would not like to intimidate nor frighten them to ask more questions.

hor...are u prone to picking on children...insulting their intelligence is that something u find acceptable. not a person i'd like to meet nor want to be given advice by...boy are you stupid, and i bet that boy was very sweet and could have used acceptance much rather using him in a way to try to insult someone else. i just consider the source u also are a new member and may not know anything either.

It's not your Sun sign, but Mercury Retrograde in your chart.

What I've noticed is these people are more confident when Mercury moves backwards. More likely to express their mind during this phase.

It is said that when a planet is retrograde in a chart, it's energies are turned inward. Then as transiting Mercury goes retro, a window opens up, and their thoughts and feelings are allowed expression.

I attract a lot of Mercury retro crushes. With the ones I'm not interested in I play dumb. The instant Mercury moves backwards, they act up.

These days, I can spot one a mile off.
