I dyed my hair darker. It's something I've been toying with for a long time and I just did it the yesterday. I used to dye it this color years ago and I really liked it a lot. Well...it looks awful! I cannot believe I used to like this color! Thankfully, it's a semi-permanent color.Btw, the eclipse is exactly conjunct one of my venus midpoints. Anybody else have anything happen to them yet? If this is the worst I get I'll consider myself lucky IP: Logged |

Ironically it is not the upcoming eclipse, but your own wrong judgement that seemingly ruined the hair. And hey, the eclipse is not here yet.

I've dyed my hair this color before, but never hated it. This eclipse is supposed to let you see things that were not obvious to you before. For me, that's my hair doesn't look good in this color. The other eclipse (02/06) was right on my AC, btw. And hey, the eclipse is not here yet. It's here later today, and its effects are noticed days (even weeks) prior to and after the eclipse. This eclipse lasts a year (I think) there are so many eclipses to keep track of lately. MM - My hair certanly feels its wrath. IP: Logged |

The colour may have suited you before but our skins and bodies change with time and what suited us -- even hair colour -- when we were 20 looks awful when we are 40!I used to have black hair for a while in my teens but when I tried it 15 years later I looked ghastly, pale and haggard! Try something else... ------------------

LOL Sattvic. That was blunt and amusing. Whatever shade is closest in color to your natural shade will look best.
If you have to change the color, i reccomend going for a level of saturation (darkness) that is also similar to your natural color. If you go too light or dark, it's not going to match your skin tone and you'll look weird. IP: Logged |

I dyed it this color a few years ago. It is too dark though. Funny how tastes change! It will wash out soon enough, especially since I'll wash it like, 10 times today quote: Whatever shade is closest in color to your natural shade will look best.If you have to change the color, i reccomend going for a level of saturation (darkness) that is also similar to your natural color. I know...but this isn't that far off my natural, but it still looks weird - the color is off...I don't like the tone and it definately came out darker than I wanted it to... quote: Ironically it is not the upcoming eclipse, but your own wrong judgement that seemingly ruined the hair. And hey, the eclipse is not here yet.
I found this obnoxious. I wasn't going to say anything, but I am. I don't know if you meant it too be obnoxious or I just read it that way. There are so many posts on things people attribute to astrology. Most, if not all of them, can be traced to actions on a person's part, so I'm wondering why you singled out this post to point that out...

Why don't you post your photo and perhaps I can advise..If you can afford to get it done at a good salon the problem can be instantly solved.... IP: Logged |

If all else fails I've got a pair of hair clippers in the bathroom. I can run you up a number 2 all over, it will sort out any split ends problems as well as dodgy colours. IP: Logged |

It doesn't look bad in photos for some reason. I thought of the salon, but I would have to dip into my savings and it's really not bad enough for me to do that. I'm going to have to wait it out and just keep washing it. I heard Prell is really good for this... Hey it's only hair, right?? And it's beats a bad cut any day.
