I'm just curious about this; have you come across Saturnian people who were early in everything?

What do you consider a Saturn influenced person? Are they necessarily Capricorn suns, or would you consider these as saturn-influenced?

1. ASC Capricorn
2. Ruler of ASC in Capricorn
3. Ruler of ASC conj MC
4. Ruler of ASC exalted
5. Stellium in the 10th
6. Stellium in Capricorn
7. Saturn conj sun
8. Saturn conj moon
9. Saturn conj mercury
10.Saturn conj ASC/DC
11.Stellium involving Saturn

any thoughts or additions welcome

I think you can see the Saturn influence in configurations. Here's a couple of personal examples:

My husband has Sun conjunct Saturn in a T-Square;

Sun conjunct Saturn in Aquarius

Opposite Mars in Leo

Square Neptune in Scorpio

He was already in his thirties when I met him. I don't know if I would have gone near him in his twenties.

He says the Neptune influence sounds more like him when he was young. Saturn has taken over, I'd say. The obsessive/addictive side of his personality is channelled into his work, which is also his hobby. It puts bread on the table, so I don't complain about it. Much!

The Neptune Opposite Saturn around the in the 60s/70s has been mentioned a few times on the boards.

It's on my chart:

Neptune Conjunct Jupiter in Sagittarius

Opposite Saturn in Taurus

Square Midheaven

Trine/Sextile Moon Conjunct Pluto

Age tends to make people less idealistic, so no suprises there. If you have a hard time from life through no fault of your own that can take off your optimistic edge as well. So that would be me. So I think Saturn is taking over. I hope that makes me more responsible, and more able to get on and get things done (it also conjuncts Mercury) as well as being more miserable!

Blue moon,

did you think you or your hubby's saturn influence tend to make you slower in

1. romance/ love
2. jobs/careers
3. spirituality

I'm just wondering, because I have a few of those aspects I mentioned up there, and from a certain age, I felt behind my peers in some things, and am not sure if it's through a fault of my own.

I have Saturn on the Mc in the 10th, and Cap ASC and I'm really slow in the career department.. something in me is unhappy about it (may be it's the mars), and is telling saturn to speed up.. but it's not working!

Oh, and I never fell in love until I was 21, and relationship wise, it's probably around 24.

It's a shame he wasn't slower in the romance stakes as his marriage to wife #1 was a short-lived disaster the aftermath of which lingered around causing trouble for quite some time.

Career-wise he started from the bottom and worked steadily up from his own effort. Now he can sit back and enjoy his career as he has achieved what he wanted.

I think Saturn sometimes tells us to slow down and do things right. That is certainly what I think about its influence on my chart.

Spirituality - he is a scientist. He tolerates people's beliefs but long discussions about it makes him uncomfortable. I was probably early on this area of life because of my mother. She doesn't work on a system of logic. She is very intutive, but also has a long history of emotional problems. At a young age she told me about visitations from the other side, but when I repeated it to other people in the family they dismissed it as her being a fantasist.

Saturn is actually my rising planet. It's sextile my Ascendant and resides in my natal 10th. I'm a late bloomer in every. single. way.
