The first thing that I noticed is the angles,houses are strongly aligned with each other.

Midheavens conjunct with 14 minutes of arc,and that's an aspect that indicates similar goals and interests. That can seem like a very strong soul connection. It's also the most exact aspect in the synastry,and it should be the strongest theme in the chart.

The ascendants are conjunct, and that would seem like a strong physical connection/attraction and seem like you two have strong similarities in outlook in lif

Sun conjunct Ascendant indicate ego,self expression,vitality merge with persona,outer personality,approach to life. That's a strong physical connection/attraction too.

Mercury conjunct Ascendant indicate communications,intellectual processes merge with persona,outer personality,approach to life. That's a strong communications connection.

Mars conjunct Uranus with 18 minutes of arc. That can seem rather explosive,impulsive,exciting.

Sun trine Saturn with 18 minutes of arc is good for stability as the ego,self expression are in harmony with structure,discipline.
Saturn conjunct North Node can seem like a strong karmic tie.

She has a stellium in her 8th house that includes Mercury-Saturn-Uranus in conjunction in Taurus. The 8th house is also a house where people like to hide or isolate. Not only that, the conjunction of two such opposite energies with her Mercury might already make communication difficult for her, just on her own. I can imagine the confusion around communicating new ideas or communicating in a conservative manner.

Then there is your Mercury-Neptune conjunction in your 1st house. I don't know if that conjunction surpresses your communication or affords you incredible amounts of music, poetry, imagination and inspiration for speaking or communicating, writing, etc. But for both of you those individual measurements could "possibly" contribute to the diffulty you have communicating to each other.

Your collective Mercury's make no connections to each other and they aren't blocked by each other's Saturn's in anyway, so if there is difficulty occurring, my explaination above could shed some light on that.

Geo...what about all of her 8th House planets also being in MY 8th House?

You may be feeling her planets in you 8th house, but she doesn't feel your 8th house.

My thought is that you are feeling some kind of strong companionship with her, but I don't see much romance. I see some measurements that might translate as purely sexual energy, but your Venus and her Venus make no romantic connections in your charts at all.

I understand that romance is not everything, companionship is extremely valuable, but I also see some strong competition and power struggle measurements as well.

Your Pluto squares her Sun which feels like you are pressuring her. With all those planets in her 8th house, I'm betting that she can isolate like a champ unless she has already worked through issues that would cause her to isolate.

Your Uranus conjuncts her Mars which suggests that you may shock her into some unexpected actions, like when you become frightened and just lash out without looking where you're hitting or swinging or shooting. It just happens. These are "attacking" and "inflaming" energies that don't feel comfortable, especially if she's not ready. That same Uranus conjunct Mars suggests that she might be really irritating to you at some point.

But it's interesting that you brought up the topic of communication, even though your Mercury conjuncts her ASC and you both have ASC conjunct ASC (which is a very strong soul connection), my thought is that two people with communication problems will still have double the trouble trying to communicate.

A good friend of mine met up with a soulmate a year ago. I looked at their charts and saw that they had all kinds of passion and romance in the charts, but their communication looked like it was all arguments. I told him, "You two will be fine if you just sit in a room together and don't speak, but when you start communicating, it's gonna be all fire and arguments and unless you both like arguing and debating (some people love that, and I don't judge it) it's gonna be really hard for you.

Well, they had a terrible break up and said some of the most terrible things to each other. They are just beginning to gently contact each other again just to get to the "no hard feelings" place, but they both know that they can't get back together because they just verbally attack each other constantly.

I don't think you and your friend even get to the verbal attack because the communication is suppressed for both of you. But only you can verify how you feel or you can do your best fight that suppression that Neptune is doing and that your Mercury retrograde is trying to do.

Does any of this ring true for you, I could be all wrong, but anything is possible.
