Topic: Mars/Venus aspects to ASC in synastry

How do Mars and Venus work with the ASC in synastry? Would Mars conjunct another person's ASC be more aggressive, sexual, competitive when the two are interacting..and Venus more easy going ? ------------------

As I recall from my long ago youth, the aggressive, predatorial type of approach is a favourite of some men. A friend of mine of (Scorpio Mars CNJ my ASC) tried it, and it put me off him for a long time. Later on he switched to the sob story tactic (Venus in Pisces) which worked to his satisfication. I don't know for sure but in my experience synastry aspects involving the ASC to Mars and Venus up the attraction factor. I can't be sure which way it flows or if it's a mutual reception thing bc there were other harmonious attraction aspects. I think maybe the ASC person is the "receiver" and the planet person affects them more.Also - my experience has only been with the softer trines and sextiles so I can't comment on the conjunction. I have no mars/venus aspects with this one guy I dated and I was attracted to him more than anybody I've ever been attracted to. He wasn't even really my type......but omg I was just crazy for him. IP: Logged |

well i have Mars conj Asc so Asc aspects to their Venus and Mars happen a lot... Im not sure about the effect.. but certainly doesnt hurt. one fellow whose Asc trined my Mars/Asc to an exact degreee- oh my i felt a very strong connection there. i see the Asc as a "role".. and I always spotted him out of a crowd as exactly the type of guy i wanted. There are 2 couples amongst my closest friends who have the Mars conj Asc in their synastry charts and they are also the couples who argue the most about the most trivial things! One of the couples lived with me in my home for some time and I just couldnīt get it... it was full war a few times a day and still -I donīt think Iīve seen a couple more deeply, madly in love and they still going strong after 12 years. Same with the other couple - they are 2 totally different individuals with absolutely nothing in common - they fight like hell, but still they are so madly in love and their relationship seem to be rock solid in spite of their differences and the heavy duty arguing. I was thinking maybe the Asc triggers both negative and positive stuff from the planet, but with an extra super mega boost from both the good and the bad energies? Iīve seen Uranus conj Asc - but canīt really see the "sudden flash of lightning love" that I read about - not in my guinneapig-charts anyway - but then I might not know the whole truth about all my friends either ;-). Do you think that conjunct planets to the Descendant would have the same impact as with the Ascendant?

hey,this is an old thread that I happened to find. Interesting idea, with my cappie he has both venus and mars in pisces which i think conjuncts or sextiles my Cappie asc. I have libra in mars and venus and i think that complements his saggie asc. interesting. IP: Logged |

what would it make if someoneīs saturn/mars were both conj the ICF of other person=?IC means a sense of belonging and confort,but do mars and saturn there gives some uneasyness or attracts? IP: Logged |
