I am new to all of this so I am not sure where to start. I was born November 1, 1966 at approx 1:30 am. Where do I find out exactly "what I am". :-) I don't mean to be rude or sound harsh just not sure where to begin and I am quite interested in learning more! Thanks!Scorpiogal66 IP: Logged |

Googling "what's my sun sign" will give you a fair amount of resources to choose from. Here are two to get you started http://alabe.com/freechart/ http://astro.com IP: Logged |

to LL, Scorpiogal66 Please go to www.astro.com and register (it’s free). Right under the “Astrodienst Astro.com” in the blue title bar is a section called "Free Horoscopes", click on that. Under "Please select your free horoscope" choose the section headed in gray called "Horoscope Chart Drawings" and pick "Extended Chart Selection". Click on "Add a New Person" and set yourself up. Then under "please select the type of chart you want" drop-down box, choose "natal chart wheel" and click on the "click here to show the chart" button. Once you've run that you'll have all your planetary positions (and a nice picture!). At the "Horoscope Home" page, you can now click on "Personal Portrait" under “Short Reports.” Down at the bottom of your report is the text listing of all your planetary and house positions. There are excellent instructions (with pictures ) at this page, under “Generating Your Chart”: http://intraspec.ca/asteroid-goddesses.php If you want to post your chart image at a forum/messageboard, first generate the chart at astro.com. Then click anywhere in the body of the chart, which opens a new window and gets rid of all the extra text on the page. Save THIS page/image as a .jpg or .gif on your hard-drive. Upload it to a host (directions in Newbie Party thread: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/015151.html ). Then you can post the image by using the UBB Code image tags [img] your image file name at webhost [/img]. NEVER PUT UP THE LINK TO YOUR CHART!! This gives access to YOUR astro.com Profile to ANYONE who might want to click on it. IP: Logged |

Thank you for the instructions for each website. I have utilized them both and I am amazed! More info about myself than all the years of therapy trying to figure it out. LOL. I don't feel so silly now since the feedback from both sites was 90% accurate about how I think, view and feel on the inside. AWESOME info! Thank you so much. :-)IP: Logged |

ScorpGal ~Here's a thread for you to copy to your desktop: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006272.html There are links in this thread to practically any astrology subject you might wish to study Some of the links are defunct, but most of them still work..... Pluto was conjunct Uranus in 1966 -- I'm interested to see how you're faring with the transits you probably have going IP: Logged |

Hi! Yes I have it saved to my hard drive as GIF image. But I don't know how to insert it into this window I'm typing in. I feel kind of stupid here. LOL

As an alternative, try saving the chart onto your computer, then go onto allyoucanupload.com and attaching the saved chart by using the browse button. Then cut and past the uploaded link. IP: Logged |

I have read the short reports but I am sure the chart means alot more to some of you then it does to me. I have LOTS to study and learn. Looks like a grade school abstract art piece to me right now! LOL :-)IP: Logged |

ScorpGal ~If you go back into "Edit" in your post, you can place a code at the beginning and end of your chart-pic-URL -- put [img] at the beginning of the URL and [/img] (note forward-slash) at the end. No spaces between the IMG tags and your URL-address..... Then your chart pic will display in this thread, instead of opening a new window In a month or two, that pic won't be looking like a gradeschool abstract art piece Here's an excellent place to start learning astro interps -- Tim Wilson's site, astro kindergarten: http://www.geocities.com/wilsontctc/index.html IP: Logged |

I just read in another thread someone stating that Scorpio with the moon in Virgo is scary. :-( I saw Virgo on my chart as the ascendant and I am of course Scorpio? I am kind of sad about that description. :-( Does that mean me? IP: Logged |

You don't have Moon in Virgo, hon -- it's in Gemini in the 10th house. And let's nip this in the bud right now : quote: moon in Virgo is scary . . . I am kind of sad about that description. :-(
Negative value judgments aren't going to get you anywhere in understanding your chart, so let's dispense with the "scary" and "sad" right here and now Virgo is your rising sign, your Ascendant. You have Mars in the 1st house in Virgo (me too ) Your Sun, Venus and Neptune are in the 3rd house -- I have Sun and Neptune there too The houses are areas of life experience. This is the way I remember the basic interps: Houses are "Where" Signs are "How" Planets are "What" Please take a look at Tim Wilson's site and share with us what you are learning IP: Logged |

I'm sorry Zala. I repeated what someone said in another thread here on the website that Virgo moon with Scorpio sun was "scary" and I did not understand why they would write something like that. That is why I said "sad" or became defensive (sound like a Scorpio to you? LOL) I have already started reading the website you provided to me and I am quite frankly quite happy with my chart. It is what it is anyway. No one controls when they are born so I am really intrigued by the info on my short reports. What is "scary" LOL is how accurate the short reports I have read so far are. OMG....I am a true Scorpio thru and thru so far. :-) I have started the first six steps but I need to go back and repeat it again. Thanks Zala! :-) IP: Logged |

I'm pleased that already you have such a commonsense approach to your natal chart quote: I am quite frankly quite happy with my chart. It is what it is anyway.
Ain't that the truth You can't escape where the planets were when you were born Despite the challenges I'm happy with my chart too, and I wouldn't have it any other way.....Your Uranus/Pluto opp Saturn/Chiron in the 1st/7th (Asc/Dsc axis) is intriguing to me..... And your Moon almost exactly square Mars (do we display a bit of temperament at times?? )..... I wonder, with your North Node in Taurus, and South Node near your Sun, how you are faring with those 9th house directives..... IP: Logged |

Hey your chart kind of resembles mine ;-) My moon is in an air sign, mars in virgo but in the 8th and scorpio sun! I always thought older women, those in their 30's and 40's and beyond who have scorpio suns completely embody their signs and have learned to 'become' their true selves! My old college professor of art history is a scorpio sun with scorpio mercury and gemini rising is not only the smartest woman I know and sweetest, has a powerful presence!IP: Logged |
