I never believed them, but after so many failed relationships and a recent divorce, I am beginning to.

I am a typically happy person, but am beginning to feel hopeless, and quite depressed lately, thinking I will never find true love. I don't know why everything always seems to go wrong in my love life.

Can someone examine my chart, and give me some insight on my aspects that could point to why I might be having this difficulty in love, and maybe some suggestions on improving it?

When I look at your chart I see 7th house Aquarius, and venus opposite Uranus, which could explain the difficulty in your relationships. You probably attract the unusual sort of men in your life. From being married, drugs, jail, the possibilities are endless in the relationship dept. You get very bored and need a lot of stimulation from the opposite sex.
Neptune is conj. your 7th house, which could cause a lot of heartache right now, also being attracted to victims..secret relationships...Be wary when it comes to love, very easy not to see people for what they really are!

Jupiter will be transiting your 7th house(next year) which will help you a lot, you might possibly find someone next year I would assume. Even a marriage chances. I know a lot of people who married during this transit, it will be even more stronger since it will be trining all your gemini planets.

South Venus Node in 10'01 Taurus conjunct your Venus-Mars conjunction, and so you have strong Venus influence through the South Venus Node.

At this point in your life I see you are going through your first Saturn Return, hence the depression. I also have Saturn at 7 Virgo. You've been hit twice already, with one more due in July.

This is a period of looking inward not without. For you, I'd guess an exam of the things that are of real value to you. Marriage? Independence? Romance? Career?

With regard to romance, the upcoming eclipses on the Leo/Aquarius axis should give you lots to smile about.

The extreme difficulty in your love life stems from the Mars & Uranus aspects to your Venus. Venus wants to bond, Mars/Uranus both want to preserve their identity & individuality. Thus in all your romantic relationships these dynamics are played out, with you on once side of the aspect (most likely Venus) and the partner on the other side (Mars/Uranus).

I've noticed definite patterns that I've never thought about before. I have a tendency to attract mostly Sagittarians and Aquarians, with the exception of 2 Virgos. Saj and Aqua are the signs that are associated with independence and freedom right?

I like to think of myself as an independent person, and love my freedom. But in my relationship with the Saj and Aquas, I become this horrible needy person. I lose myself to them, and give up all my friends, interests, body, soul, etc.. to these men. I give, and give, then I end up feeling empty and unhappy in the relationship. My ex-husband was a Saj and he was a heavy drinker, gambler, and did drugs. The Aqua I dated right before him was a heavy drinker, and had serious self esteem issues. He ended up cheating on me. (I sure know how to pick'em, don't I?)

I think what I was initially attracted to in them, was their free spirits, and the fact that they were somehow detached and "ungettable". But after a while I think my "need" to share something deeper with them could never fully be satisfied so I became needier and needier so the relationship fell apart. (I do feel however, these hurtful relationships were karmic debts I had to pay.)

My relationships with the 2 Virgos is the opposite. They were so giving, and wanted to share, share, share, which scared the crap out of me. I felt suffocated, and pressured, when all they were trying to do was give me what I kept saying I wanted. To "share" and having something deep. I broke it off with both of them, because I was having claustrophobic panic attacks.

Why do I go after men who can't seem to give me the closeness I long for in a relationship, but push away the men that can and want to give this to me?

When I read this statement from Hermes28, it was like a light went on!

It does, I want to find true love with all of my heart and soul, but at the same time I am terrified of getting hurt by it. I have never really let myself be vulnerable. Being vulnerable means leaving myself open to be hurt, and that scares me the most.

My birth time is actually 11:30 am. I don't know if this changes much, but it makes my ascendant in Leo, not Virgo.
