Hi everybody,

I would love to have your opinion regarding this aspect... I know it is analized already, I found many links but I am interested in a particular case: when Mars falls on the Ascendant (1 degree in Cancer) and Pluto on the Descendant. This is a transit that has given me many headaches, and with all the retrogrades for both of them, well, it has a long life...
This week the conjunction will be exact, followed by a transit of Mars in the 1th house and Pluto that will hit the Descendant twice more this year and then his transit in the 7th house...

It has caused me a total mess, breakups in relationships that made me reorganise my whole self, tensions (inside and outside) and even a near death experience (glad that I'm alive to tell about it). The situation is not over, things are still in flux, and so is this transit that will influence until 2009.

Evidently, my interpretation on this is subjective at this moment and I would like to know what would you tell to a person with this transit, in other words an objective interpretation.

Thank you

Is this natal Mars on the ascendant, being triggered by transiting Pluto on the Descendant?

Just making sure I have got this right.

Sounds traumatic.

It's hard to say without seeing the chart and/or knowing the degrees, but my advise would be hang on in there, they will move off the angles in due course.

If you want someone to take a close look at your chart, there is a new Private Readings forum.

Be wary of any new people you meet, or any acquaintance with whom friendship intensifies. Assuming you don't enjoy drama & intensity in your relating.

Thank you very much for your support. I can onestly say that was helpfull. I guess almost everyone encounters such times in their lifes, the only difference is that us that know astrology or have other such preocupations can have an ideea as to "why"... or we can see them coming and deal with them in a propper manner. I don't want to burden anyone and maybe someone else who encounters this similar aspect could find this experience usefull somehow...and maybe it will help in understanding.

Well... with slow moving planets on the Descendant this kind of acquaintances come on their own, you can't help it and I don't mean to sound a fatalist but in my experience with the Descendant and the 7th house in general it does happen.

I recently had a discution with a friend of mine who doesn't know astrology about the fatality rate of some of the aspects and I stick to my opinion that some of them in deed anounce events beyond our power to evade them and the only think we can do is to be aware...

This is the map of my current "state":

Do you feel like its been a violent year? I feel that way, there have been a lot of deaths around me, close to me.....I was just talking about that with my friend the other day, what a bad year it has been. Pluto must be doing weird things with my chart also.

I am a true fan of Pluto, I actually love her/him
It is right up my aley, distruction of the old that happens very fast almost to catharsis followed by regeneration....I prefer this instead of a saturnian energy that drags things for longer periods.. it's allmost like a blessing cuz I consider the time is very precious and shouldn't be wasted.

Regarding this year (from Pluto's point of view) I see it more like a constant "rubbing in the wrong way" like a thorn in the foot that is constantly irritating and nerve-racking and needs removal.
