Hello WriteLooking at the chart...and off the top of my head, I would say an empty 10th House would mitigate against a career in the public eye. There are some who cannot escape the public eye no matter how hard they try to hide. The 12th House is loaded with all that Taurus and I doubt he would be at all comfortable having the spotlight constantly shined on him. This says nothing about how good a president he might be...or not. IP: Logged |

This guy would make a good authoritative manager, but not a president or leader of a country as far as astrology is concerned. Most (or all) presidents will have Pluto or Saturn in either the 1st House, 9th House, 10th or 11th house. Some combination of that. Geocosmic Valentine Professional Astrologer geocosmicvalentine@yahoo.com . www.myspace.com/geocosmicvalentine ------------------ "Everybody is a star!" His close Chiron square Midheaven would seem like he would be too much of a Maverick for the public which would not fit well for leading a country that has a lot of conservatives.Chiron has a maverick quality ....the same with the other centaurs in our solar system. the centaurs named after male centaurs in mythology have highly eccentric orbits. the centars named after the females in mythology have low eccentric orbits. His NN is in Leo, which indicates that he has to cultivate being ok in the spotlight (though probably not for politics for reasons listed in the next paragraph). He's got a stunning amount of Venus influence, AND it's concentrated in the 5th and 12th, which are two very creative houses. If he pursues anything that requires creativity, I would guess that he'll excel. IP: Logged |

You know, I could see Stephen Colbert having Gemini Rising, and he's a Taurus sun as well, so maybe that's something to consider.IP: Logged |

Some astrologers view 12th house placements differently......like they believe that they could be about being connected to the collective for Neptune is natural ruler of the 12th house. Some astrologers believe 12th house has to do with collective unconsciousEvolutionary Astrologer Maurice Fernandez focuses Neptune/12th/Pisces as career stuff as he believes that it has something to do with one's calling. President Bush has nothing in his 10th house and he has Sun and Saturn in 12th. his lack of 10th house planets and his strong 12th house emphasis didn't keep him from being president. www.mauricefernandez.com/12thhouseandcareerTMA07.pdf Also in her THE NODEBOOK, Zipporah Dobyns wrote that world figures tend to have strong contacts to the nodes of Jupiter and beyond. President Bush's Mercury-Pluto conjunct North Neptune Node in Leo.

I noticed Neptune in the 7th, which to me says that he can be dreamy or inspirational in his interactions with others.IP: Logged |

His Mars might be conjunct the Eris North Node in Taurus. The Eris Nodes have been in early Taurus/Scorpio for a long time. IP: Logged |

Hi Glaucus,G.W. Bush has Pluto in the 1st house which was one of the placements I mentioned. Also, G.W. Bush has all kinds of luck in his chart. I wish I could remember this Vedic Astrologer's name, he's very famous. When I remember his name, I'll let you know it, but he mentioned that G.W. Bush had all of his planets on one side of his Nodal Axis and it suggests some kind of great luck or safety. So far, he has avoided Tecumseh's curse and impeachment, etc. I also remember Bush having a ptolemaic Jupiter-Uranus aspect suggesting that he's even more surprisingly lucky. But he does have the Mercury-Pluto in the 1st house, giving him one of those presidential signatures I mentioned. IP: Logged |

Yep......I see that he has all thatI wonder if the Vedic Astrology was pointing out that he has Gaja Kesari Yoga with his Moon conjunct Jupiter....with it being a very close conjunction...a powerful yoga I also wonder if he was talking Kal Surpa yoga when mentioned all his planet on one side of the node. I wrote about him in regards to 2004 Election....I was talking a little about Magi Astrology. According to Magi Astrology: Bush has Sun,Uranus, and Pluto in planetary synchronization in declinations, and that is supposed to be good for both politics, popularity, power, and big business. Sun parallel Uranus and Sun parallel Pluto are enhancement aspects. He also has Jupiter trine Uranus which can means expansive popularity and success at politics, and its part of a triple conjunction trine for his Uranus is trine a stellium of Moon,Jupiter, and Chiron. Moon conjunct Jupiter can mean domestic success, and that could apply to success in his own country. Now add Jupiter and Chiron, and you have fabulous public image too. Add Uranus to the mix, you get success in politics due to fabulous image in domestic area. Bush has 2 Jupiter-Chiron aspects. He has Jupiter conjunct Chiron and Jupiter parallel Chiron, and that's a planetary eclipse. That would add to the fabulous public image that could greatly help him in politics.

Hi Glaucus,That wasn't the astrologer but I think it was "Kal Surpa Yoga". I'm not familiar enough with Vedic Astrology, but he was definitely talking about all the planets being on one side of the node. I have to read your group posting at another time, I'm looking forward to it. Geocosmic Valentine Geocosmic Valentine IP: Logged |

very interesting responses.heres a chart of a famous taurus leader its very familiar to his. the reason i think the person in the OP could be president is because his thoughts and ideas are so intensely passionate, and different from the norm. i think he could change the world, he cares about people a lot although at the same time i think he "hates" them. i only think he feels that way because he feels so intensely. hes very intelligent, and his mind will blow you away when you first meet him. I heard that many presidents have their sun in the 12th house (shine behind the scenes) With Pisces/Aqua Midheaven I think this would be a firm yet compassionate president. However Sadam Hussein was a Taurus 12th houser ... Bush is a 12th houser. These people ususally bring up issues that the collective unconsciousness of the nation needs to deal with and resolve.IP: Logged |

Yep.....the 12th house relating to collective unconscious12th house is also house associated with selfless service.....well....I don't see that in Bush and Saddam I remember being taught in Transformational Astrology class that 12th house is the house of Serve or Suffer 12th house/6th house is the health and service axis
12th house is associated with institutions of all kinds IP: Logged |

I'm a 12th Houser also, so I hate using this term and hate accepting (I haven't fully) but Bush's 12th house sugests "secret enemies" and I think he's one of our secret enemies, but he has taken us to war over so called "secret enemies" that we call terrorists.Who are some other 12th house presidents?
