I was just experimenting with astro.com a bit - and took a look on the “Persona”-horoscopes of several of my planets/asteroids. (A “Persona”-horoscope is like the “natal chart” of a planet, like my Moon’s horoscope, my Amor’s horoscope, etc..). I examined my DESCENDANT’s-persona in particular … in order to find more about my (potential) life-partner: “What would he be like???” (I also studied my boyfriend’s persona-horoscopes of course.)

What do you think? Is that a valid method? Or just a too abstract and too far-out approach? Do you work with Persona-horoscopes? What are your experiences with these?

I noticed some encouraging coincidences in the persona-charts of me and my love. Like: In his VENUS-persona, the MOON and VERTEX are conjunct – on the exact degree of my own natal SUN-sign. Or: in his DC’s persona, my name-asteroid is in the 1st house. Or: In his Antivertex-persona my name-asteroid is in 1st house as well – on the exact degree of my natal ASCENDANT – and the DC (7th house cusp) has the same degree as my natal JUNO.

In my own Antivertex-persona it’s his name-asteroid cj. EROS, cj. MOON cj. N.N. cj. the IC. In my DC’S persona it is his name-asteroid cj. PALLAS– on the exact degree of my natal P.O. FORTUNE. In my AMOR’s persona the SUN is on the exact dg of my BF’s natal MOON, etc..

What about you folks? Do you take the PERSONA-horoscopes into account when examining a specific astrological matter? Did anyone study his/her DESCENDANT’S persona in particular?

I have to admit I haven't done much with persona chart but after reading this i went and had a look at my chart, specifically trying out descendants and ascendants ( as my time of birth is only narrowed down to two hours). It might be useful for rectification , and after looking at the ascendant chart it occurred to me that it would be interesting to find out if your ascendant chart is how people first see you until they get deeper or maybe the chart is always a huge part of your everyday behaviour so you're always your ascendant chart to a degree.
