I know two people with Aries ascendant who never apologize for their mistakes (mistakes which hurt others). I wanted to know if this has something to do with this ascendant. If it's because they are too arrogant or proud to admit to their wrongdoings and apologize for them. I know that pride and arrogance is more associated with leo, but I think leos usually apologize and admit their mistakes. I hope no one gets offended with my question. I actually think Aries has great qualities. But would this be one of their flaws? IP: Logged |

I've got aries rising, and it is tough to get me to admit that i am 100% wrong in situations, even if I am. usually i rationalize or explain my actions before full out apologies are given out. ------------------ *Christina* Aquarius SUN Gemini MOON Aries ASC IP: Logged |

Well, I am unsure of the aspect parts, but my cousin is a Scorpio sun with Aries rising. He never apologizes, even if he knows it is hurtful. I don't know if it is the Aries rising or the Scorpio sun. But he never really directs hurtful things my way, I see him do it to other people though. IP: Logged |

Although it is a huge generalization to say that aries is possibly the most arrogant sign, it probably is. I believe pluto rules aries, not scorpio and the megalomania and ego that go with pluto, goes with aries. IP: Logged |

Got an old friend who is Aries Rising, Capricorn Sun, if I recall SN CNJ MC. I used to think she was arrogant when we were kids, but not now. A lot of energy is pumped into her (very successful) career maybe that helps. But your description suits Mr BM quite well. No Aries - but he has Sun OPP Mars in Leo. Bad temper. Quite arrogant. Is unlikely to offer a formal verbal apology. He would do something non-verbal like clean out the cooker. IP: Logged |

i'm an aries sun and my rising sign is also aries. well to b very honest yes i am arrogant to people especially if things do not go my way. Many many many people hav called me proud. They think i hav an attitude. But to me i'm jus doing the right thing by being critical. Usually i'm arrogant only if the person has done sumthing wrong. But ppl take it the wrong sense. I guess coz of my cancer moon i do hav a realization of all this but yet i hav never apologised even wen the person started crying. I felt bad i mean it but i jus could not say a sorry............... My pluto is in scorpio by the wayIP: Logged |

Aries rising, Leo mooner here...I have always had a hard time apologizing. I will do every physical thing in the world to make it up to you, but for some reason, actually saying "I'm sorry" is like regurgitating acid... I just can't seem to do it... IP: Logged |

In addition to Aries rising, I believe Sun and Moon signs are quite important here in confirming whether you can apologize or not. I have observed that Aries Sun and Fixed Moon makes it quite difficult for a person to apologize. Aries is the most open and most assertive sign of all. I believe the reason for not being able to apologize is because it conflicts with the initial assertiveness that they make as soon as they enter anywhere (meeting, date, etc) It was one the toughest move in which I had to make an Aries person apologize. But he did :-) And, it was so hard for him and he did it in a closed place so that no one else hears. And, he did it so fast by saying "It was my mistake. I forgot to do so." He spoke that in 2 seconds and ran away. As for me, I am Scorpio and a Cancer Rising and I apologize right away to maintain closed relationships. I apologize to my Cancer Manager just about every other day :-) IP: Logged |

I got it! Normally I would say Aries Sun can/will make a sincere apology if they are wrong (but they hate to be wrong) After reading mblover's post about Aries Sun/fixed Moon I realize it's a Mutable Asc. or Mars that makes apologizing less tramatic Out! IP: Logged |

Mr Blue Moon has never said sorry for saying that that all I do is sit on my @rse doing crosswords. He did, however, subscribe me to the Times online crossword for a year, which I took as a form of apology. IP: Logged |

Hello,I'm a Leo with a 28'30" Aries Ascendant. I wonder if having my Ascendant in the third decanate would might shed light on my willingness to admit mistakes. Jupiter's rulership of the decanate may add a lightness to the personality. Leonine Ox IP: Logged |

With aggressive Aries types, I'd say the older they are, the more likely they'll be willing to back down or apologize.IP: Logged |

with Aries for me it goes both ways- I know people who are Aries that really worth gold to be around. they are absolutely refreshing... and yes Ive met the Aries ******* too.. like this one fellow that insisted that he never felt sadness before and never felt angry ever. he also openly expressed his attitude of "i don't give a **** about anyone" over and over again. amazingly enough he was confusing because he always had a proud smile on his face. i really dont think its about the sign itself- ive met good and bad people of all the signs - the main thing i believe is how the person expresses those traits. i also tend to think that a sign you are not compatible with is most likely to irritate you the MOST when they express their bad traits. Wow, thanks, all those replies were really helpful. One of the people I was refering to, I know has felt bad about something he did to me, but never said "I'm sorry". I think deep down he knows he did a bad thing, but will not admit it. He has libra sun, saggitarius moon and mars in leo. IP: Logged |

triplecancer, you should also know that you have quite a lot of Cancer planets. So, being over sensitive, there comes a need for others to apologize and make you feel comfortable with your imaginary pain. You are never direct so you are never going to tell that guy that it's his mistake and he needs to apologize..But on behalf of him, I apologize to you and request you to let the fact go and move on to something creative. How is your Mom? How are your children ;-) IP: Logged |
