Topic: Does this spell violence? If not, what does between two people?

For example:If someone’s Moon/Jupiter/Pluto conjunction was squaring onto their own Saturn, then the original stellium was activated by another person’s Sun/Mars conjunction, would that spell violence between them? Or would the synastric Sun/Moon conjunction and Sun/Jupiter conjunction in this mix be enough to mitigate the bad stuff from Saturn via Pluto in one chart to Mars in the other? I’m talking theory, rather than being judgemental about the original person’s Saturn Pluto square by the way! Any thoughts on signs of potential violence between two people in synastry? Or on the kind of bridging aspects described above?

POTENTIAL is the biggest word in your post.My synastry chart has a Mars OPP Mars as part of a Grand Cross configuration. We have quite a fiery relationship but that doesn't mean it is violent. It isn't that hard to walk into another room and count to ten. Hard aspects between Mars and Pluto can be difficult to handle but they don't necessarily spell violence. It's best to be aware of the potential, though. From http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/synastry.html "Mars-Pluto interaspects are similarly stimulating, though more intensely so. Difficult aspects can create battles of wills that threaten harmony." Something harmonious elsewhere can ease the potentials, like the conjunctions you point out. Something favourable involving Mercury would be nice - communication and dialogue can help avoid unnecessary arguments. Although we have some challenging synastry on our chart, we have trines between our Suns, and our Mercurys by 1* orb, which helps. IMO communication is key in relationships. But I'm so I would say that, wouldn't I?

Well, you clocked onto something I was asking and that is MITIGATING FACTORS.So for the example above, Sun/Mars was conjuncting Pluto/Moon/Jupiter. But that was squared by Saturn – into the 8th house of one, and into the 7th house of the other. And that is why I ask if there are any GENERAL violence factors in the synastry chart. Yes, I agree, if there are other favourable aspects, then this becomes a question not of a particular relationship, but one about the stars. In this particular relationship there is also a massive conjunction – from start to end- Pluto-Mars-Venus-Venus-Sun-Moon-Mercury-Uranus. There is only 8 degrees between the outer spheres of this aspect, the rest are pretty tight. Anyway, this was not a question about free will, which I hope everyone interested in astrology and its benefits supports!

Actually blue moon, I overlooked a question I wanted to ask about your post.Is not an "outer" planet in difficult aspect to it’s own other pretty much meaningless? Except for the capacity to be at loggerheads or be going in a completely different direction. (Well, that's pretty important sometimes, but not a dealbreaker necessarily – particularly with generational planets). Congrats on holding your temper BTW, does s/he activate it? Does anyone else have experience of a Saturn-Saturn opp, or a Mars-Mars opp, or any of these that traditionally spell trouble? IP: Logged | |
