This is a chart of a friend of mine, who has NEVER dated, never kissed a girl, is completely terrified of women, and is of course still a virgin. He has lived thru some great transits to meet a person, and yet has met NOBODY. It completely boggles my mind, he has yet to meet anyone...I realize Saturn/5th..blah blah..but you would think having Scorpio in the 7th, planets in the 7th(moon,neptune,etc) that he would of met someone during his Venus/pluto conj transit...hes almost 30!!

looks like he's a couple weeks older than me..dunno if there's any relevence here, but i've always thought the saturn conjunct NN makes things a bit difficult and isolating when it comes to relationships, sometimes.. i like his chart.. it seems pretty friendly. also i wouldn't discount the nodes. i'm kinda a node freak. but having his SN in pisces in the 11th means he's probably VERY acquiescent and also a romantic idealist too, which could lead to a lot of shyness, i would think.. how does he look? is he insecure about his appearence? he needs to get on this situation fast.. his pluto in libra.. hes gotta be atleast thirty. the longer he waits the harder to actually get with the special girl. he should be pretty romantic and sensual .. I'd say the astrological culprit is that his saturn in the 5th house of romance and dating is square his venus in the house 7th of steady relationships by a 3 degree orb. Saturn square venus is notorious for causing extreme shyness anyway, and the fact that the planets involved are in major love and relationship houses makes it especially hard to overcome shyness in those areas. For instance, if venus and saturn had been in the 1st & 10th, instead of the 5th & 7th, his issues would probably be more about fear of authority (10th) and insecurity about his looks(1st) rather than fear of intimacy. I think the house postions make quite a big differance to the outcome of an aspect. On a personal level I feel for the guy. squares are challenges that we need to face and overcome in this life time, and it sounds like this guy is gonna have to work really hard on building up his confidence with women. But squares can be mastered, so it's not like it would be impossible for him to succeed. He needs to be willing to make a few mistakes in expressing his interests...thats the only way to learn. Also venus rules beauty so the more attractive the lady is more terrorfied he is likely to be. The rest of his chart shows an open positive nature with all that Sag & Aqua, especially his sun/mars conjunction, which is supposed to bring courage. More likely that manifests as intellectual courage and zeal though, as the conjunction falls into the 9th house. The sun/mars conjuction is also sextile his moon in the 7th. So maybe if he consiously focuses on this aspect it will help in his relationships. Being a Sag/Aqua type he probably has a sense of humour and an amusing quirky mind tucked away somewhere under that awkwardness...and if he can learn to just relax and express that he might find a girl yet. Upon furthur looking at his chart I've also noticed that the ruler of his 8th (house of sexual inimacy) is in close opposition to his mars/sun conjunction, and that both these points are then squared by chiron. His 8th house cusp is Sag ruled by jupiter in leo in the 3rd, so perhaps he also feels that in someway his ideals (jupiter), way of communicating (3rd), or his pride (leo), block his capasity for deep intimacy.The square from chiron to his sun/mars conjunction could also hint that his confidence in himself as a man is somehow 'wounded',(being that the sun & mars are the primary symbols for manhood) and this could add to the terror he has of women. Chiron square jupiter, as ruler of the 8th itself, indicates that he could also feel 'wounded' in his sexuality. And jupiter opposed and squared in the 3rd shows, once again, that he may have communication difficulties when it comes to very personal (8th) type subject matter.
