We all know how important the sun and the moon are in a birth chart and I believe that the moon can change the characteristics of a sun sign or of the way the sun sign manifests itself.For instance I am a cancer sun with a libra moon and this combination makes me feel neither cancer nor libra, but pisces.I feel I can see myself when I read the description of pisces and I think the cancer libra combination is the reason.Has anyone felt this?What is your sun moon combo and how does it make you feel?

I don`t know if the combo of CAncer and Libra can make someone like a Pisces.

But maybe you have strong other Neptunian traits?
For example: I have felt very Neptunian / Pisces at times in my life, and that with a stellium in Sagittarius in 1st house and Moon in Aquarius.
But I also have the ruler of all my Sagittarius-planets, including ASC, in Pisces square Neptune.
Neptune itself sits right on Mars, NN and ASC. So there is a LOT of NEptune influence in my chart.
Maybe you have something like that?

On the other hand, if you have a Moon in Cancer and a Sun in Libra, then the midpoint may fall into Virgo and the far midpoint may fall into Pisces.
WEll, I don`t know if the signs of midpoints matter, but if you feel like this, it maybe is the case.

Hey DD,

You're right, she could have strong neptunian influence, but I think where she was coming from was the fact that cancers are very emotional, and libras are indecisive (combine those two traits = pisces?).

milyi, wasn't it you who has neptune conjunct SN?

funnily, when i think cancer and libra combined, i do kinda get a pisces vibe.

i'm aquarius with taurus moon and these signs could hardly be more different. i find either i'm SUPER grounded and solid or i'm totally up in the clouds. i still haven't QUITE figured out how to combine them..

Im a cancer sun and libra moon.. I wouldnt say i feel like a pisces but i can relate to how they feel.. my chart ruler opposes neptune and my descendant is in pisces.. and also my sun lies in the decan of cancer ruled by neptune (pisces) other then that.. no I feel very much like a cancer.. and I can also notice libra.

Heartcakes - despite this diversion, you'd always feel strong and "consistent" right (ie Aqu never changes, but nor does Tau)?

I have Aqu sun and Libra moon and they feel in synch. I'm a highly cerebral about things, constantly trying to rationalise. My problem is that I have moon on the DC and Aries AC! I really feel that! If I pick a fight and get angry, I then feel guilt and want to hide my emotions and patch things up.

23, yes, i would say, even to my detriment. i'm HIGHLY independent, and very stubborn about it. it's not that i enjoy it, i just don't want to or like asking anyone for help. i do feel quite strong too, yes. but again, somewhat to my detriment.

do you feel compelled to pick fights with aries AC? is there anyway you could avoid that if it makes you feel guilty? aqua sun and libra moon does sound very cerebral..

oh i see you just edited and added "consistent" (unless i totally missed that!?).. yep, consistent, stubborn, kinda the same thing. heheh. i feel like i'm mentally aware every moment and like i must pay attention (i don't want to miss a thing!), and also, that i have to be a strong, solid presence, for others, every moment too. so, yup.

What i find crazy is that a man with Libra moon can drive me to tear all my hair out from their wishy washy indecisive stance yet a man with Libra venus brings out the loving, cuddly side of me...

it's so warped! I thought the moon and venus were all about emotions and lovey dovey stuff!

Heartcakes - Well "picking" a fight is probably the wrong words, "getting into a fight". I think its the libra moon that makes me feel guilt esp if I get angry. My libra moon says "diplomacy, control your emotions, fighting is below you". I have an exceptionally complicated AC-DC axis, so it gets a lot worse, a lot of bouncing around:

AC Aries 15deg
Moon Libra 20 deg
Pluto Libra 11 deg
Jup Aries 17 deg
Chiron Aries 23 deg

plus Pluto/Moon and Jupiter are in a mystic triangle with Neptune (15deg Sag) and Mars (13deg Gem).

Lara - it depends if you have anything in your chart compatible with a Libran man and it sounds that you do.

What throws me off libra is that things are always swing-like, indecisions, yet they are soooo assertive. Some of the most assertive people are Librans, yet they either try to are somehow able to leave the impression that they aren't

They have the whole 144 sun/moon combos explained nicely. Their synastry section is really good too. I love that site as it isn't full of pretty pictures, annoying (and irrelevant) pop ups, etc etc, just the basic info I'm after.
