Lara,"Can l ask who IQ is? and the significnce of Valentine as l have never heard of it before?"
IQ used to post a lot here before.
He had some rules to determine if someone can be your soulmate.
One of the most important things i`s to keep your orbs tight, 2° to the maximum, and to first look at the important bodies like Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Pluto, NN, ASC, Karma and Valentine (maybe Amor).
In a soulmate relationship you would find:
1. close aspects of those bodies to ASC
2. close aspects of these bodies to themselves (ex.: Venus conjunct Sun)
Also, there has to be a close dw with ASC (or Moon), but here you can look at other asteroids, too.
The most important asteroids in my opinion are:
Ceres, Juno, Karma, Valentine, Amor, Eros, Psyche, Isis and Osiris
But with a true soulmate you will have strong connections from various angles:
Natal comparision
Synastry
Midpoint configurations
Draconic chart
etc.
There will also emerge certain patterns.
EX:
There is this singer I feel a certain connection, too (probably we have met in a previous life, that`s all).
And we seem to have a Venus-Pluto-theme among others.
Natal:
His Venus trine his Pluto
My Venus squares my Pluto
Synastry:
My Venus trines his Pluto
HIs Venus contraparallel (and triseptile) my Pluto
Midpoint configurations and planetary pictures:
We have a Grand TRine of:
His Venus / Karma trine his Pluto trine my Venus
(actually it`s a kite since his Chiron is exactly oposite his Pluto)
AND
my Venus is exactly opposite his Venus-Pluto-midpoint
That means that we have a midpoint picture of Venus/ Pluto = Venus
AND
all the planets of this midpoint picture aspect each other in tight orbs.
I think that those configurations may be the focal point of any chart.
Draconics:
His draconic Pluto conjuncts my Draconic Venus
Also, everytime we met or spoke shortly (not all that often) this particular Grand Trine was triggered by Transits or Progressions big time.
That is what I call a pattern.
Also, I don`t underestimate minor aspects.
But first make sure you have understood the major aspects, which probably will be the most dominant themes in your chart or synastry.
But the minor aspects could be like an undercurrent melody or vibration. I still have to research that.
Regarding Valentine:
It is said to signify unconditional love, this kind of love where you sacrifice yourself for the loved one (if necessary).
It`s funny, I never really believed in the effects of Valentine.
But some months ago a new colleague appeared at our workplace.
There are many people who have their troubles with him, because he sometimes comes across as a bit arrogant, not wanting to "mesh", distant and so on.
I saw that all, and still the moment I saw him, I felt a surge of warmth and forgiveness and well, maybe even love, or let`s say affection for him.
Pure, undemanding, not erotic or sexual, no, no, just a feeling of overwhelming sympathy, but in a calm way.
And now it turns out (I never really looked at his chart before), that my Valentine is:
conjunct his Sun (1,5)
conjunct his Mars (2,5)
conjunct his Karma (0)
and probably also conjunct his Moon.
And since my Amor and Valentine are only 4,5° apart from each other, my Amor is also conjunct his Sun, Mars and Karma.
Actually my Valentine and Amor kinda surround his Mars, Sun and Karma. Like brackets. LOL

Happy Easter to you and your family, too!"
