I'm thinking of becoming a make-up artist. I believe it's job that would make me really happy. I think it would be a job that would suit me since it's creative and I need that. I feel that I would be good at it too. But since I'm not a person that likes risks I usually ignore my desires and wishes when it comes to my career choices. I always pick the easy and safest way. I guess what I'd like to know is if I choose to leave the current situation and start something completely new, would it be a smart move?

Without even looking at your chart, let me be the voice of reason and say that you should always try something before you commit to it.

You mentioned that working with make-up seems creative, but be sure that there are opportunities for jobs in your area that you can be creative with it. It might be a good idea to talk to someone who already works with it and ask if you can "apprentice" on weekends to see if it's for you.

That being said, I'd encourage you to find out as much about it and anything else you're interested in. Once you're convinced that's where your heart is, look for an opportunity and make the change. I highly recommend Joseph Campbell's writings on "Following Your Bliss."

Astrologically speaking, transiting Uranus is conjunct your natal moon and part of fortune which is opposing and shaking up that 2nd house natal Saturn (need for stability and security concerning finances). In addition to this, transiting Pluto (transformation) is conjunct your progressed Venus (beauty) in the 5th house of creativity.

Your chart does seem to point to healing/transforming in relation to beauty. Maybe you can do make overs on Oprah to help others improve their self image? Have a monthly column in Martha Stewart's "Living" on how to make your living space zen?

That has been a major pattern in my life. As a teenager I felt really unattractive and hated it when boys flirted with me. I just felt really uncomfortable with the way I looked. That was because of some traumatic experiences I had as a child. I hated being a girl, and hated the idea of me trying to be attractive so that men could fall in love with me. Growing up and after a lot of pressure from my friends I started taking an interest in my appearence. I was surprised to find out that feeling beautiful actually made me happy. As shallow as that might make me.

Currently I'm doing office work. I was in college studying psychology but I quit after some time. I lost interest in it pretty soon. That's the biggest problem with me. I get bored really easy. As far as media work...I can't say that I don't find it fascinating. I never talk about that though because people tend to think you're full of yourself having dreams like that. Surprisingly though, most of my friends suspected it, and they ofter joke about it. But so far, I can't imagine something like that happening to me. It's just a fantasy. I guess I'll start with the make-up thing first and we'll see how it evolves after that.
