Do you feel "you are" your Sidereal natal chart? For me, nope, not even close. I am not anything like a Taurus. And I definitely don't feel Virgo moonish. And I def don't come off as a Leo to people.

For all the science that goes into backing sidereal up, for me, it is still inaccurate. Western Geocntric (tropical) fits me to the "t." I have been very much my chart since before learning about astrology.

So how about you guys?

My chart looks the same, it's the same shape and it's got the same aspects. It just gives me some different signs. Taurus Sun? That lands in the same degree as my natal (Western) Venus, so it's hard to say.

Just as I was about to say the Western sign suits me fine, and something to the effect of 'don't fix it if it ain't broke' I thought: how Taurean

Does it matter if it is more scientifically accurate? It's still a symbolic representation of an event that happened over 30-odd years ago with a time of birth given me a man who wasn't present at the time (a.k.a Pops) many years later. It serves its purpose fine as it is ~ I think it is as accurate as it needs to be.

I think it doesn`t make really sense to mix (most) WEstern astrology with Sidereal zodiac.

I only have seen it work in two instance:

1. Vedic astrology (applying the VEDIC rules and meanings)

2. karmic implications (conjunctions between sidereal and tropical zodiac seem to show "karmic business" which needs to be finished in this life), in natal and especially in synastry.

Have you ever compared Sideral to Tropical composite as well as synastry DD?

Like sideral AC conjunct natal Juno
sideral NN/Mars/Jupiter conjunct composite Sun/venus
sideral NN conjunct composite AC/Sun

Taurus,

no I didn`t REALLY delve into it.

I stopped when I saw, that my STellium of Mars, Neptune, NN and ASC fell flat onto the tropical SN of someone I felt strangely attracted to. It just gave me the creeps. lol

Even more so when I noticed that his sidereal Sun conjuncts almost exactly my tropical Mars, ASC, NEptune and NN, and his sidereal Venus is opposite my tropical Karma.
And his sidreal NN exactly conjuncts my natal Chiron, and his sidereal Moon exactly conjuncts my IC, while my sidereal Chiron conjuncts his tropical SAturn / Chiron / Lillith and opposes his Uranus / Pluto (and Atlantis). And his sidreal Chiron / Saturn exactly conjunct my Lilith.

I sometimes wonder what karmic business it is we have to finish. Seems to be of the tough variety.
