Also what if they don't contribute nothing to a configuration already present in your chart? For example, I have a mystic rectangle and my partner's sun and venus is conj with one planet in the MR. Would my partner feel this mystic rectangle?

If your partner connects to an already complete configuration in your chart, you both will probably feel the impact.
Maybe your partner "wakes" this special configuration inside of you "up".
But if it is an already closed configuration, the partner might not be seen as so strongly "completing" like in the case of incomplete aspect configurations.

I also wondered about the sexual aspects in platonic relationships or connections.
I have the example of a gay man, and my synastry with him has a very strong focus on so called "sexual" aspects.

My Venus conjunct his Venus and Eros.
My Pluto conjunct his Mars.
My Venus square his Mars.
My Pluto square his Venus and Eros.

I don`t have an answer to your question though. No idea, why something like that can happen, astrologically.

I do have that with someone.

A Grand trine of his Venus, his Pluto and my Venus.
This GT becomes the basis of a Kite, involving his Chiron, AND a mystical Triangle, because my Mars/AC aspects his Venus and Pluto, too, which is in Magi terms actually a "Sexual Dragon".

The problem? He is gay. LOL
It`s such a waste of astrological configurations, isn`t it?

That sounds like really strong stuff. Having a major configuration in synastry AND the relationship-chart(s). I guess it indicates that this is really a focal point in your relationship.

No, in my particular comparision that doesn`t happen.
But in the composite there is a Kite of Mars in Capricorn trine Karma / ERos in Taurus trine Uranus / Pluto in Virgo.
And Neptune / Psyche is the backbone of that Kite, opposing Karma / Eros.
There`s also an Isis-Osiris-conjunction in Scorpio (over laying our synastric Venus -Uranus-opposition).
Also:
A yod of Sun sextile Juno quinkunx Pluto.

In the DAvison there is also a close Eros-Psyche-conjunction.
And a Yod of Venus sextile Karma/Juno quinkunx Moon / Chiron along with a conjuncted trine of Mars trine Moon / Chiron.
Of course that means there is also a Mystical trine of Mars, Karma/ Juno and Moon / Chiron.

I dunno, what it means, but it probably was strong enough for us to coincidentally see each other on a concert, where we both were part of the audience. I say "see", because it was not a meeting in the sense, that i actually talked to him. I was too surprised, but I think he noticed me, too, because first of all he looked directly at me, secondly, he looked back at me several times during the concert and when I saw him on stage some weeks later, he greeted me from stage. So, I guess, he really saw me.

Maybe that could only happen thanks to that rather strong synastrric overlapping. Additonally, this Grand Trine / Mystical Triangle / Yod I mentioned has been triggered by several transit planets opposing / conjunction the "corners" of that configuration, including Transit Mars, Transit Venus and Transit NN.

It was one of those moments when everything astrologically falls into place.

Astro.com charts seem to show up the configurations made using planets of both charts at all ends but I think both can be felt, it's all interactive energy.

Maybe it the difference is one is united energy, the other is less balanced and one partner bringing something to the relationship that the other locks into, maybe reinforces, or motivates in some way.

Examples of Grand Cross on charts, as an example, on one one synastry chart I have from astro.com it looks like a Grand Square - the effect of it being formed from two oppositions from two different natal charts crossing.

Here's a Grand Cross where two T-Squares join together:

We can certainly feel that one!

But you can see that his Sun CNJ Saturn not only forms one arm of the Grand Cross, it sits at one end of my natal Grand Trine, the Mars end. So this is a real power point.

I think I've partially answered my sexual aspects in non-sexual charts questions myself. I've just looked at Rihanna's planets (don't know her birthtime). I think she's the total package so far when it comes to R&B, incredibly beautiful, hip etc. I'm a straight female and I have no sexual feelings towards her.

BUT

She has saturn and ura at 0 deg cap and mars at 28 deg sag. They are conj my venus (at 26 deg). Her venus is sextile my mars and her venus is conj my asc. Her jupiter also trines my venus.
