Do not buy a reading from jennaaboutastro.com. She had been sending me emails for weeks and had a very trusting looking pic of herself as a nice mature lady on her site. She had been really insistent about transists coming up in my life and how they were going to change my life but how I should get a full reading to help me make use of their transit period, quote from my email 'it is essential that you get reading in the very best manner possible to benefit from this Transit which is going to change a great deal of things in your life. Therefore Catherine, and as I have already mentioned in my past letters to you, only a full complete reading will give you all of the information and the details you need to prepare yourself and to be sure you have all the knowledge you will need for this period.'Well after all the emails sent I nearly asked for the reading but I looked up her site on google first and it's all a scam! She has duped alot of people out of their money. One of the bogus websites says there are many kinds of fake astrologers, psychics etc so make sure you at least put the name of anyone claiming to be an astrologer on the google search engine.

This thread needs to run and re-run. Unfortunately there will always be unscrupulous people ready to take advantage of the vulnerable. It is something I particularly dislike. IP: Logged |

Quinnie,This is totally of topic (warning...thread re-rail), but I wanted to ask if you had by chance read the book by Kevin O'Hara "Last of the Donkey Pilgrims"? I just finished it and I loved it. Cried at the end. Back on topic....thanks for the heads up! IP: Logged |

No he isn't Quinnie. Actually he is Irish though he lives in the US. The book is about his travels around Ireland with a donkey and cart. It took him 25 years to write the book.I read it because I have always been interested in Ireland, more so now that I have read the book. It has tons of history, lore and all around amazing people. Mr. O'Hara was traveling through during the time when the IRA and the English were in disagreement. I wondered what an actual Irish native might think of his book. It made me want to visit even more. I'll have a read and tell you what I think. I lived through the troubles myself in Belfast. Even now I can see how people have the emotional scars and still are very much in recovery. I always wondered how experience of a civil war would show in a chart. Sounds like a great read for me personally.IP: Logged |

I just want add another thumbs-down for Sara Freder. Years ago she informed me that a curse had been placed on me and that she would remove it - for a fee of course. I find that kind of behaviour, that preys on people's vulnerabilities, to be sickening!

Quinnie - you're welcome GemLover - I know, I hate her emails, cos they start with a fantastic promise of shangri la and half way down the page she tells you you're doomed unless you pay her $100 for a reading, $40 for a lucky number and $70 for this amazing lucky talisman - Blurgh! IP: Logged |

I think if you're going to go online and pay for a computer generated report, you're better off paying someone with the talent to go more in depth to have a look. There are lots of great astrologers here on this site! Find someone you trust. If you only want a chart, your best bet is to buy astro software so that you can run your own reports. Many sites charge you $100 for a computer generated report and the software costs the same amount. (That's not including the reputable sites who don't overcharge...but I hate scamming.) Taurus, I haven't bought the Eros report, but I do remember someone on another thread saying it was good...I just don't remember who...sorry. 8th

I agree this thread should be re-run all the time. I have paid a lot of money on astro reports and readings..especially because I dont know how to read charts and they make it seem so easy by saying the aspect and the description...but it really is a generated report that can't pick up on many things. AND recently, I was on this psychic site, and got a reading...she tells me my reading..and then tells me I need a spirtual cleansing for the sweet price of $900. And she made it seem so horrible, and that there was negative energy all around me, and life wouldn't get better until I had this done..that I momentarily considered it. I quickly snapped out of it and reminded myself to say my prayers more often. And one time, some woman told me I had a ghost following me lol People will do anything for a buck, and its sad because they pray on people that are looking for hope usually. IP: Logged |
