Geez! All this talk of progressions has really opened me eyes to it now and I think I will be paying a lot more attention to it now, apart from looking at simply prog moon.

I've just realised that I have been labouring with a prog venus (and prog merc) over my natal sun, which in turn has been involved in my natal t-square over the last 4 years!

This might explain over the last few years:
* A lack of interest in career/work
* Extreme laziness (maybe also caused by prog jup-nat venus trine??)
* Excessive shopping
* Excessive jewellery purchases (esp necklaces)
* A desire for the finer things in life (eg obsession with designer labels)
* Reconnecting and obsessing with music and anything beautiful (eg obsessing over image conscious bands?!)
* Trying to turn on the charm to get out of things and loosing my ability to be responsible.

I've been trying to to figure this out for the last few years and its now finally been revealed! I couldn't figure out why I felt so venereal and I kept on looking at my natal unaspected venus thinking "this doesn't make sense". I'm sure that it has something to do with a natal libran moon though only a hell of a lot more enhanced.

Still, I am highly grateful for all these venereal progs because I finally understand and have now the ability certainly in the next twenty years or so to use this power of venus (through various aspects coming up). I guess in some ways it finally has explained maybe some of the difficulties maybe I felt growing up (prog cap venus/cap merc), being socially awkward (probably caused by retro prog merc), clumsy, unloved, unliked (venus passing over my MC and upsetting everything on AC-DC) and was very serious/reserved/good at maths/science.

REgarding the question:
It sounds like all these are possibilities of a Sun-Venus-progression. How about falling in love? Anyone on the horizon?

However, I have had p Mercury and p Venus conjunct my Moon and Antivertex for the last two years or so, and now my p ASC is approaching my natal Venus.
I have done some really deep digging concerning my position regarding relationships: What do I need? What do I want? Whom did I love or felt attracted to? Why did I love them, or do love them still? What am I doing wrong?

My Moon is unaspected except for a quinkunx to Saturn, and it rules my 8th house and falls into my 2nd house, so some real soulsearching took place in the last two years, which led to the result (not the final one probbly) that I am probably still too young to give up on love, that I need to open up a lot to people around me and face my own feelings, even though it`s painful at times (my Aquarius-Moon always liked to pretend she was "above" such things like emotional needs and longing).

As I see it, I still have a long way ahead of me, but I guess noone but me is able to go it, and I have "slept emotionally" for long enough. I missed a great deal of my own "growing up" somehow, and it`s time to wake up and get moving.

That is how I see my Venus-progressions. My natal Venus is in Capricorn in 1st house and squares Pluto and MC, so not a very happy easygoing placement, I guess. And it has been easy to "project" it, since it doesn`t really fit into the rest of my chart (STellium in Saggitarius in 1st house; strong Neptune; Moon in Aquarius)

DD - I'm sorry to hear your predicaments Don't give up in love, it tends to come in strange places and it doesn't necessarily have to come from a prog chart!

I'm happily partnered off myself, so in relation to the natal sun-prog venus thing, it probably makes my partnership happier. Still, I'm blown away by the amount of venereal progressions I'm getting over a long time!!

I have no personal experience of this one but it is coming up in a few years. I expect a big shake up in something Venusian. Sun to Uranus was a big personal shake-up where I questioned a lot of things about my past. At the time I had health problems beyond my control that attributed to this.

Venus progressed to Square my Pluto CNJ Moon, and on my chart the Moon is also exactly CNJ Lilith/Apogee Moon. I gave birth to my sons at this time. There were family problems lurking in the background and again health problems beyond my control, but perhaps the most notable part of this part of life is that it was maybe a surprise to a few people how well I took to motherhood. It surprised me as well, to be honest. My aunt describes me as more an intellectual than a domestic type and she is probably right. Since joining Lindaland I can thank my fellow posters for educating me in Ceres - which is conjoined the Sun in Gemini. Sounds just like me so I can stop feeling inadequate now, even though I am "not a good cooker" to quote my elder son, I can do other mother-like things O.K.

Back to the Venus Square Uranus I am going to guess here that a sense of disatisfaction might be behind this aspect. Maybe questions about what you want and what you need. I'd have to look at your chart and think about it harder but that is just my instincts thinking about the progressions I have been through ~ for what it is worth.

thank you for your nice words. No, I donīt think that love comes from a progressed chart, but I definitely think love can come only, when I am open to it, which I haven`t been for a very long time.

I also think that Venus-progressions can definitely be helpful in an existing relationship. Maybe helps you to stay in love or falling in love with your partner again.
How is your synastry with him btw?

It's a good question re our synastry. There's a bit of conjecture re my partner's birthtime. It was written down by his mum's family but his stepmum who is an astrologer disagrees. I'm apt more to agree with the written time, it makes him Sag AC. The stepmum's time would make him Cap AC (which coincidentally is his younger brother's AC but he looks younger than his brother).

- A craving for sweets & carbs (I was on low carb for 5 years & lost heaps of weight)
- No socialising
- Weight gain
- I now look a lot like Venus.....of Willendorf.
