I have Pisces rising, 2 of my siblings have Pisces moon, my dad was a Pisces. Of course, I married twice men with moon in Pisces. My son also has Pisces moon. What is the sign or signs that tends to run in your family? IP: Logged
Isis Knowflake Posts: 1975 From: CA Registered: Jan 2004	posted April 10, 2008 02:28 PM My grandmother was a Gemini, my grandfather was a Taurus, my mom is Scorp w/ Gem rising incl a Gem stellium in the 1st, her two sisters have Gem moons (Virgo & Taurus suns respectively), and I have a half-sister who is a Gemini - so Gemini seems to figure prominently on one side of my family. On my other side, my Grandmother is a Scorpio, my Dad is a Sag w/ a Scorp Moon/Scorp Venus. My half-brother is a Sag with Scorp rising. I don't think it's an accident that my Scorp moon/venus father, whose mom was a Scorp, ended up with a Scorp. And I'm a quintuple Scorp, so I guess Scorpio figures prominently in my immediate family. Every long term relationship I've had has been with fixed signs: Leo, Aqua, Taurus and Scorp. I married a Taurus. I have no children thus far. IP: Logged

My mom is a Leo (whom I get along with really good, as with all female Leos), my father is a Scorpio. My youngest sister is a Cap, my two older sisters are Libra (whom I get along with the best of all my sisters), and my oldest sister is a Pisces. My wife is a Pisces. Thats all I know right now. Has anyone every written a book or article on this phenomenon and what it means when 1 or 2 signs tend to run in families? I noticed Blue Moon's family had so many Uranian aspects. Funny, because the name blue moon is so appropriately Uranian, as in "once in a blue moon", something that is out of the ordinary. Hehe. Special nod to Belgz whose family didn't seem to have 1 or 2 dominant signs, and they didn't get along. Perhaps the dominant sign is part of the glue that holds families together. IP: Logged

Then in around the same degree of Virgo My sister (Capricorn Sun) has Saturn in 13 Virgo I have Venus (Libra sun and ascendant) in 15 Virgo My youngest sister has an 18 Virgo ascendant also Then my son is a Gemini but my other son has Pisces Sun, Uranus and Node but at 16 degrees Pisces forming an exact conjunction with his dad's (my partner) Mars (conjunct Pisces Sun) which opposes my Venus chart ruler. My babies were born with Uranus transitng this degree. For my partner's family it's a mutable thing. All are either mutable or fire boys with a fire or earth moon just like their mother. IP: Logged

I looked at both sets of grandparents, my parents & their siblings, my siblings and half-siblings, all my cousins, and my nephew. And every single one of them has at least one of those 4 signs in their Sun/Moon/Asc trio. Libra and Scorpio showed up a lot too, but not as consistently. I wonder if my future spawn(s) will carry on the tradition. In my SO's family, there's a lot of Cap, Gem-Sag too, so maybe that's what we'll make. A Cap/Sag with a Gem asc sounds delightful.
