My taste in looks and stature are quite eclectic {see anything with a pulse chasers}. I think it goes with not being easily disgusted by physical things.

But what I like, is signs of life in the brain department. I doesn't have to be witty and erudite, sensible and wise will do nicely. Just indication there is something of substance lurking.

There's no point being handsome, charming and with a six pack but with absolutely nothing interesting to say. I will soon be bored, or irritated.

Sun sign = Gemini

Mercury in Taurus in the 7th house

Ahhh, is it an air sign thing? Because I agree and you're an air sign moon like me too. I definitely need some intelligence otherwise it's game over. They can look like the elephant man as far as I'm concerned as long as they have a brain. That makes them sexy.

But if they have a good voice too - oh my god. Think Malkovich and John Hurt or Richard Burton. A bad accent or tone can be a death knell. I can't see how anybody can fancy David Beckham with the voice he has, he sounds like a 5 year old.

me too, it goes without saying that i need some mental stimulation.

i know the meaning of the word selective. i couldn't be with someone superficial, lacking in depth and understanding. the man of my life will be wise or he simply won't be. i don't want to mother some guy who doesn't truly appreciate who i am. for that, he has to be intelligent.
that's my criteria to consider someone. it's not negotiable.

Same here but I am Scorpio Rising... ?? w/ Scorpio Mars, Jupiter.

Maybe the Pluto energy's need for depth is the reason why?

A decent speaking voice, I like that too, probably more than looks.

Mr BM is in fact M. La Lune Bleue. A rich baritone number, with the added bonus of being able to burst into a stirring rendition of "Amsterdam" or anything else by Jacques Brel, or with a nod to the local environs, "Black Dog" or anything by Led Zep.

p.s

I am also Scorpio rising!

Plus my Libra Moon is Conjunct Pluto.

I'm a zombie too. "Braaaaaiiiinnnsss."

"i don't want to mother some guy who doesn't truly appreciate who i am. for that, he has to be intelligent."

Well put, praecipua. I feel the same way. It's lonely not feeling understood and prohibits a true connection.

I'm the same way with a good voice. I have Gem on my 8th and Venus in the 3rd, so my voice fetish is strongly established.

I love sparks, mental and physical. Smart guys excite me and are fun to play with.

Oooh, how lovely! Does he serenade you?

Mr Wheels got taken from Chelmsford as a tiny nipper and spent his first 20 years in Sydney. His first words to me were a husky G'day....I often wonder how much I'd love him if he'd stayed in Essex.

Superficial? Moi?

Mmm, so much cheese, such little room in my arteries.

Hello to you too, wheels. I am pre-breakfast and your name and those photos are waking up my appetite. I think I'll enjoy some dalai lamas covered with cheese for breakfast.

They certainly know how to say "Allez les bleus".

When at nursery school teacher the teacher took me to one side and asked about them saying "sheet" Apparently, this is what daddy said loudly when the car wouldn't start.

p.s the french influence means I can no longer stand to eat processed bread. I sniff at supermarket wine, as well.

Aaah, right, as in garlic muncher. I didn't realise you were French either praecipua. I had my first snog from a French boy in Nantes. He was absolutely gorgeous. His name was Eric.... or Errrrique as he said. Hubba hubba.

I like people I can talk to, but they don't necessarily have to be "smart." I think everyone has valuable ideas, even "dumb" people. So for me, looks are paramount. I can get along with anybody.

Sun & Merc in Aquarius, Venus in Pisces.

Edit: Actually that's a lie. If the way a person talks makes them sound ditzy, I can still date them. However, if they say straight up stupid things, then... no thanks.

You're quite tolerant, amowls

I don't know if I am smart or not, so I think I should say that I go for people with whom I can have some sort of mutual understanding on the mental and emotional (and spiritual most of all). So, we don't have to be Siamese twins but our values should be on the same plane.

There comes a time when I wish to discuss philosophy, or psychology, or the esoteric and mysticisms of all kinds; and I don't mind explaining to someone who is not familiar with such, but it is easier if they are, or at least if they have a concept of such things. They don't have to be interested in it though.

He doesn't have to have a doctorate, but there must be a meeting of the minds otherwise the relationship can not work for me on any other level because even the physical aspects of a relationship begin in the mind to me.

It's not education I require, it is intelligence. The willingness to learn, the willingness to adapt. The maturity, vitality, strength and mental sharpness that allows us to communicate, even through cultural differences, language barriers, or difference in interests.

That's the brain I require. Not necessarily a brain with a high IQ, but a brain with the ability to create solutions to barriers, a brain that can articulate the spirit's emotions. A live brain.

Oh definetly! But I need intellectual stimulation in all my relationships with people ( friends, etc).

Pisces Sun
Aries moon in 7th
Stellium of 4 planets in 3rd house ( this could be the culprit )
