When is it going to stop? That is..this soul-searching, gut-wrenching, transformative period in my life. you've got the same sun/moon/ascendant as my boyfriend so I decided to take a look at your chart. In your progressions- you have a lot of Sagittarian energy- moon going through the 9th (ruled by sag) and a bunch of personal planets in Sag. Perhaps it's brought a lot of contemplation to your life- attempts at understanding the "bigger picture" as is the traditional sagittarian quest. Also- something interesting- your progressed N.Node is exactly conjunct your natal node right now- which would activate the node's power in your life. In case you don't know, the north node is said to represent our aspirations, the direction that we should head in while leaving behind the questions and issues of the south node. Look up- N.Node in Cancer/11th house and S.Node in Capricorn/5th house. Perhaps that will provide some insight. Look into transits and progressions- there is lots of great info available for free on the net.

phoenix1111, you are undergoing a Saturan/Uranus square.For some, those who are pretty self contained and in control or want to be in control of their destiny, this is a tough transit. It's characterized by nothing going right. Plans do not materialize no matter how much effort you put into planning. It seems the harder you try to make something happen the worse it is and you wind up with nothing to show for your efforts. It seems bad luck dogs you. This is not a good time to attempt implementation of new ideas, new ways of doing things or new anything. You may wonder if the Universe is against you. This is the only thing I see in your chart with such long lasting effects you've described. Saturn/Uranus transits last years...including retrogrades which come back and hit you several times. jwhop, Yes! EXACTLY! That's it! And YES, it is very hard for me. I do feel like the Universe is against me or trying to teach me a very hard lesson that I cannot be in control, that it's the one that's running things right now and I just need to get used to it. Never have I ever fealt like this. My intuition seems to have shut down and what I feel isn't manifesting like it has in the past and therefore has been a heavy blow to my self-confidance. My question is WHY? What am I supposed to learn most importantly? jwhop, How much longer is this going to last? Is anything positive coming that will replace this period? I truly feel lost for the first time in my life and I don't know how to tap into my inner strength and move forward like I have so easily before, because like you said everything keeps me from my plans, my hopes and my dreams. ------------------

phoenix1111, you've been hit twice with exact 0* Saturn/Uranus squares in the last 6 months. That's when the energy is the strongest but to one degree of another, the energy is still there until the transit is finished with you. This latest bout ended March 28th...though you should be warned the energy..though lessened is still there. You're going to get another visit beginning early June and lasting until the end of June. After that, the influence of this transit will lessen over a period of months as Saturn and Uranus move out of aspect. For a lot of 2007 you've had a Saturn/Jupiter square to deal with. The planet of restriction meets the planet of expansion. Quite a tussle but that's gone now. Perhaps the lesson to be learned is patience with your circumstances and that you are not in control...at least during this transit period. At least you know what's happening, where it's coming from and that the Universe isn't really against you. That's a leg up in dealing with it. My advice: Keep to your normal customary routine and don't make basic changes to your lifestyle for now. If you're a student, put your head down and study hard. If an employee work hard, get the job done and don't expect recognition. Just don't make basic changes and expect to have it pan out for you now. There are now and have been positive aspects in your transit chart. They were just overshadowed by the very powerful influence of this square between Saturn and Uranus.

Thank you for helping me understand I remember praying for patience a few years ago, and boy...  it just doesn't come naturally to me like it does to others. Do you think that particular transits happen at particular times to help us grow or learn something? How come we have good transitory periods and then later on we have difficult ones? I mean what's the purpose? Is it for a reason or is that just the way it happens?  Thank you again for your help  ------------------
