wow its been a while since i've been around. Ok on to the topic. Saturn is the ruling planet of capricorn and is also associated with karma and karma is associated with past lives. I am a capricorn sun, moon, saturn, uranus and neptune. All my life I've always felt... caged. Everything I've ever done was never good enough for anyone and I'm seen as the "bad one" if my family (which I could never understand since I consider myself to be quite the prude and rather obedient to the point where I didnt think or stand up for myself). Aside from that my life up to this moment has not been too super either. I was sexually molested as a child, physically abused most of my life and just last summer someone tried to take my life. At first I couldnt understand why my life was the way it was. I'm the only child in my family that was treated like this. Then I found astrology and started to learn and understand things about myself which bring me to my chart. Its full of capricorn therefore full of karma. I think in a past life I was an evil person that was very bad to children and as a lesson my childhood was less than perfect. I'd like to know your thought on my crazy filled capricorn chart and if you think my bad karma theory is valid. All thoughts appreciated thanks in advance!! BTW: I have alot of planets in my 6th house if that means anything.IP: Logged |

Do you feel comfortable posting your chart, or maybe just saying more on your Saturn placement (which of the Cap planets it is conjunct, what other planets it aspects and what house it's in) and also where your Mars and Pluto are?IP: Logged |

It wouldn't let me select just Brooklyn - what's the nearest on Astro.com - or where do I find it? Do you know? I've got say Waterlily, if the word 'Karma' was banned on this website, I wouldn't shed tears. Too often it crops up in a context where it could be subsituted for another over used word ~ 'doomed'. Some people have harder lives than others, that's true, but whilst it is sometimes their fault, quite often it isn't. It is not your fault you were molested as a child. Nowhere on your chart will it say that it is ~ not if I am looking at it. Any sign can have it's good qualities taken advantage of ~ in the case of Capricorn it is its sense of duty and responsibility. I have seen other Capricorns be taken advantage of in this way. But this does not mean you are doomed. People have survived horrible childhoods and gone on and lived contented lives. My mother is one, maybe you will be too. She has Sun Conjunct Pluto ~ the sign of a survivor ~ and she is one hell of a tough lady. You have the Sextile. A Sextile is harmonious but needs to be activated, it won't come as easily as a Trine. But still, it says to me hope for the future, not doom.

waterlilly have u googled or looked up somewhere about all that planets in 6th? just saying because it is a house very much overseen and has a lot of meaning...there is apparently where we finish with the main first contacts in life-self, possessions, communication, home and love, and must give something back. It is the house of service, and service also means karma, something that we havent finished before... i suppose... maybe there is the answer to your question, even though just like that i would say planets posited in 12th would have more of a karmic feeling. what does everybody think? Interesting that Chiron is in the 12th ~ if the chart is right!Virgo/Pisces ~ 6th/12th ~ Duty/Sacrifice Saturn is in the 6th in Capricorn, opposite Chiron in Cancer in the 12th. That really seems like potental to use a sense of duty and responsibilty to heal the self and others. http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/chiron21.5.html Chiron in the 12th house: As always, Chiron shows where we can do more for others than ourselves. A 12th house Chiron may compulsively try to take care of the poor the sick, and the unfortunate while neglecting their own needs and those of their own family. Conversely, there may be malingering and the person with this placement may themselves always seem in "need" because of one (frequently self-caused) "problem" after another. This placement tends to make a person feel tired and fatigued. If you have this one, be sure to get plenty of rest. Chiron in Cancer: The superficial interpretation would be that there were childhood troubles with the mother. Brilliant deduction. Hey, who didn't have some childhood problems with both parents? The real key here is how we dealt with it. The positive part of Chiron in Cancer is that you can be very nurturing. This is a very good position for therapists and caregivers of any sort. The negative side is that you find it difficult to nurture yourself or let others nurture you. Everybody has some degree of difficulty in growing up and severing that psychological umbilical cord with mama. Chiron in Cancer people tend to take a longer time than most to do the job. Once you do this, though, and learn to accept as well as give nurturing, you should be fine. So stop whining and complaining.

You have a great Saturn placement and the conjunction with Uranus provides a nice trade-off with stability and spontaneity to each other. The 6th house is usually quite beneficial with the exception of possibly developing an inferiority complex. Try to be as compassionate with yourself as you are with others. I see your feelings of being "caged" in the square between the moon and mars. That's a fight between sensitive emotions versus willpower, which can cause a defensive wall to go up around yourself. You also have Mars in the 10th house, which can show conflict with authority figures (dads, bosses, etc). It also shows you have a lot of stamina and the ability to succeed, though. The 12th house is the house of "hidden enemies" and it includes Gemini (associated with siblings) and Cancer (associated with a mother figure). Because Chiron is here, this is the area you need to remember to look after as it requires healing. Pluto is moving in the early stages of Capricorn and it will be moving through the sign for quite a while. You'll feel the effects of it on Uranus and Chiron and then it will move forward (but not without blips backwards into Sag). Pluto transits are bigbigbig and I really suggest you read up on how they will effect your planets. There will be some incredible shifts in your core identity, but I actually see this as belonging in your chart as your north node (life purpose) is in Pisces in the 8th house (deep investigation, clarity, self-realization). So, in effect the questioning you go through and the resultant understanding will put you in a great position to fulfill that node. I see a lot of opportunity in your chart. I'm sorry that you have had so many difficulties, especially in your home life and especially since you have a sensitive and home-loving Cancer ascendant... but Pluto in Scorpio can be regenerative on a huge level and Jupiter in Taurus in the 11th could benefit you with an "adoptive family" in the form of good friends and a lovely home. Thank you guys so much for replying!! That was so nice of you and very insightful!! Winky actually do realize the significance of the sixth house. One of my MANY planets in the sixth house in the moon. Moon in the sixth house links my emotions to my health. The past few month I was severely depressed and it showed. My hair was very dry and brittle, my teeth looked like they were going bad, my skin was a mess, I had REALLY drk circles around my eyes and I lost about 30 pound and since I wasnt that meaty to begin with I was like a walking skeleton nd my toenails got thick and turned a yellow green color and I had a cold that I couldnt get rid of. I noticed that as I got better all these these issues when away and the better I got the better I looked (vain I know) I've gained most of the weight back, my my toenails are growing in normallynow, and that darn cold is finally gone now.YAY! Astralmuse you where dead on with Mars in 10th house I've never really gotetn along with my dad we just always seem to bump heads and I've always had a problem with with authority actually its just men. I've never liked men telling me what to do. Maybe its my sun conjunct saturn? I've heard it means that alot of the males in your life let you down which is soooooooooo the case with me. I have a question (hope I'm not pushing my luck here)You said you saw alot of opportunity in my chart could you be a bit more specific please not sure what you meant there. Did you mean someone will magically come and save me or I'll land into some good luck?
and last but not certainly notleast Blue Moon thank you for your insight and keeping things real with me. Oh and thank you for posting my chart that was very sweet of you to do for me Once again thank you guys!!!! IP: Logged |

This is all just fyi for you as astrology gets persnickity and can be confusing. True conjunction is 0-degrees in distance. Standard conjunctions are expanded to include planets that are 7-degrees apart (some people are very set on using 7, some open it to 8). Some astrologers apply different rules to the "luminaries" (Sun & Moon) and allow up to 10-degrees distance for conjunctions with those two. Regardless of what "rule" you apply when reading, your Sun is at 17 and your Saturn is at 6 so you've got an over 10-degree distance. So, same sign but no conjunction. I hope that makes sense. I was looking at Mars (represents the male) in the 10th house (represents the father or the - usually male - authority). That aggressive Aries Mars is square your Sun (identity), so it really pushes your buttons. quote: I have a question (hope I'm not pushing my luck here)You said you saw alot of opportunity in my chart could you be a bit more specific please not sure what you meant there. I don't see a magic rescue, but you do have Jupiter in a trine to the Sun (loose, 9-degree) and Moon which is very beneficial energy. Jupiter is in the 11th house, so there is goodwill available to you from friends, societies, clubs, adopted relations, etc. These people just like you based on who you are, no requirements! You also have a lot of energy to draw on with Cap in the 6th house, and Mars in the 10th gives drive to succeed in career/business/government-areas. You have a good Mercury in a humanitarian spot, which will allow you to connect with others as you are genuinely interested in them, although you do appear shy in conversation. Mercury can be held back (usually in the form of deep depression episodes) by the square with Pluto if you do not learn how to detach and rebound. There is actually a process used by indigenous shamans/healers they call "soul retrieval" which could be very beneficial to you. It is a perfect time to be looking at something along those lines to help with Pluto transits. My comments on that previously were in relation to Pluto's entrance into Capricorn, but I don't think I made that clear. I like Debbie Kempton-Smith's description of the Pluto process as "Your ego goes through the Van Allen belt and life wipes out the impurities in your life. Pluto burns through the garbage. What you have left to work with is what you are."IP: Logged |

Thank you for replying. I'm really gonna look into the soul retrieval. I've done some researching and I really that could probably be the case. I also think I'm suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and although I'm getting better I cant seem to shake this "feeling" I have. Thank you so much for recommending it!! I never would have thought of doing something like that! I found someone and I'm gonna call today. IP: Logged |
