It's unbelievable, as I live it.

Strangely, I had the title in mind for my post and looked up to the browser and there it was in the web link...

Take this Full Moon and use its fantastic Scorpio energies.

Love,

This is the truth or dare Full Moon; a time to honor the transformative power of truth-telling and a very intense Full Moon to put into action (through ritual release) the goals you set at the New Moon in Aries. Since this Full Moon falls in a water sign, releasing your intentions near a stream, river, lake, or ocean is particularly powerful. But before you let go, have one last look at your goals. Whom do they truly serve? What will they bring to the world?

Since Scorpio demands depth and fearlessness, this last look will have to be brutally honest. If your goals require a change of mind, of heart, and/or of action, this is the night to successfully tackle fears that could impede the ability to fully embrace change. Scorpio seeks deep truth by peeling back layers of lies and half-truths—within us and without us.This is a Full Moon to see things as they truly are, not as you wish them to be. The intense planetary configurations on this Full Moon will be a great help in this regard.

The Moon in Scorpio (intuiting the complexity of reality) opposes Sun (motivation) and Mercury (thoughts/speech) in Taurus (thinking about and providing for basic needs and security) and the Sun/Mercury conjunction is in a grand trine with Pluto (transformation) in Capricorn (fear) and Saturn (responsibility) in Virgo (health and welfare of all beings). This kite configuration represents a global rallying cry for a return to sanity. The Mars in Cancer (compassionate action), Jupiter in Capricorn (altruistic realism) square to Venus (love) in Aries (innocence) represents a deep longing for and recognition that the time has come for reconciliation between all nations and peoples in conflict. How many more deaths? How many more bombs? How many more shooting sprees? How much more hatred? How much more displaced anger? Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Virgo will help make the call for sanity more likely to be met with real action.

On a personal level these configurations set the bar quite high for each of us. How much longer can you say it is someone else’s responsibility or feel powerless to change the world? How much more can you blame others for your own condition? How many more times can you call yourself a victim without looking at your own ability to just let go and heal? Yes, Scorpio is tough love incarnate: see it as it is, not as you wish it to be, and then deal with it in as life-supporting a way as possible. We can each in every moment make the choice to be real and responsible for what we output to our loved ones and coworkers and community.

Swell. This straddles my evil Saturn/Jupiter oppostion. Think I'll stay in bed all day.

The date seemed familiar. Checked the calendar. Cut off day for tax forms. "Tackle your fears", you said it, buster.

Yeah, and this is one half of a "Blue Moon". Clearly not something to be taken lightly.

Ride the wave, is what I say...

I usually enjoy the full moon in Scorpio, as I have it natally. But I feel crappy, in a way that feels almost like PMS (except I know that it isn't).

Oy. FMs in Scorp are usually hellish for me because they typically hit my Ascendant...this one falls in my 12th house, but is still roughly opposite my natal Sun and Mercury. No fun, but not awful. It has motivated some very deep thoughts re: my situation in life, particularly regarding mental health concerns. But it's been good for astrology work (I had the chart of a friend to catch up on).

the MOST AMAZING FULL MOON EVER

i didn't even know it was one. i have lived with intense chronic pain for 8 years and yesterday at least 70% of it left. the culmination of several very intense efforts and some happy accidents.

my day completely matched this article. wow!

the day before i also made a huge decision career wise that will effect the rest of my life in a big way and i'm so excited about it!

that is so cool that it was a scorpio full moon and i didn't even realize..

I am having to make a difficult career decision too, within the next 24 hours, one that could have a considerable long-term impact. I don't want to feel controlled - by anyone. Do you know what I mean?

Ummm.

Xena, what do you mean it's the only half of a Blue Moon?

The moon was full in Libra when the sun was in Aries on 4/19 (an orbed opposition, but never exact). But then both the sun and moon advanced one sign, resulting in the sun in Taurus and a full moon in Scorpio on 4/20. Right?

But I understand that it is the exact degree that is all that matters.

So, there will be another exact full moon in Scorpio on 5/19, right?

This is right on my mars. I had no idea the moon was there now, but it makes a lot of sense, because today was hell! I had to deal with such drama at work; it was so bad that I wanted to quit! Instead, I went to my boss and asked for a raise.

So, this is why things were so intense...

That was kindof what my question was..Since there is another Scorpio moon next month, is that what you meant by a " Blue Moon"? Is there a special effect that two of them in a row has on our lives?

I hope you're not asking me because I don't know either but I'd heard something to the effect that it did. Hopefully somebody else can shed some light on it.

A "blue moon" is the second Full Moon in a given calendar-month.'
Thus the saying, "Once in a blue moon," meaning something that doesn't happen very often.
