I have Mars in Virgo and I don't do that, I don't compromise but I don't find what people lack and then bring it up and make them suffer for it. Plus I hate arguing.

How is that nagging??? Nagging is usually when you're talking about someone else's faults and how they should be better, not talking about yourself and how great you are. That's BRAGGING. lol.

And I know because I brag all the time and I also have a Virgo Sun, Aries Moon (usually I'm just joking though). It's the competitive side of the Aries moon, having to be better than others at what we do, and the practical side of the Virgo sun, wanting to do a really good job at what we do.

Sorry, my Virgo Sun is such a perfectionist. It had to be corrected.

In any case, I don't nag. Correcting someone is not nagging IMHO. Nagging is when you do it incessantly, all the time, 24 hours a day, which I refuse to do. If someone isn't being respectful, nice, polite, or WHATEVER, I give them a warning or two, decide how important what it is I'm being nitpicky about and then either drop the issue (which is preferable, and I know when it's a petty issue I'm upset over) or I drop the person. Pretty simple.

Of course, I have 5 planets in fire, so I don't have the patience or time to nag someone all the time... In fact, I tend to manifest the detached side of Virgo in relationships (the I'm self-reliant, I don't need you, blah blah blah type), so if the little things add up, I simply ease my way out.

I have a Virgo Sun, Mercury, and Venus though... No Virgo Moon.

No problem Mblover. I can understand why the bragging and knocking down of others would get annoying. My guess is that when he's doing that, he's doing it because he's really insecure in what he's doing, but he doesn't want to show it to other people, so he pumps himself up instead. I can relate to that, though I try not to do it much, if at all... And when I brag, I won't knock others down. I'll just brag. lol. But then again, I have a Leo Mars which doesn't help.

It's good that you try and help compliment him, because that's exactly what he needs though I would advise not doing it disingenuously, because Virgos TYPICALLY can pick up on a false compliment. Just compliment him when you genuinely think he did a good job. That should be enough. Or you could compliment him on other things too.

And you're a Scorp? No wonder you're such good friends with him! I had a bunch of Scorpio friends when I lived in Texas (I've only met one since I moved here ). I miss them. I love Scorpios because they are so honest.

Goodness gracious enchantress299! You must be my doppleganger! I have the same exact placements (including Scorpio rising and Leo Mars!) I don't nag others either, no time for it, lol. (But I will make time if I'm in a foul mood )

I have a long time friend who is an Aqua sun/Virgo moon/Sag rising. He never nags...but is very truthful and blunt.

Then there was my ex-roommate from Hades. She is an Aries sun/Virgo moon and rage rising. Nag for the sake of nagging. One day, she'd say "Hey can we start putting the dishes on the left side of the cabinet?" with a year-long explanation as to why she wanted it that way and how I needed to adopt the same philosophy. The next day, they'd be back on the right.

If I put my shoes in one spot, she'd move them to another. If the next time I put them where she moved them to, I'd find them moved back into the original place. Complete control freak with no logic what-so-ever!

If I heard the words "Hey, can we..." or "Hey, do you mind..." I'd run for the hills!

What year were you born? Maybe you were born around the same time as me. And yeah... I don't nag others unless I think it'll actually work, which is rarely.

Oh yeah... I've been told that I'm admired because a lot of things are like water off a duck's back for me. I simply don't have time to worry about stuff that isn't important... But yeah, there are also things I simply won't tolerate either, and it results in a shut out. I try to take steps before I feel I get to that point, but it doesn't always happen.
