this guy with libra rising i have heard the most awful things about him on his back yet he is so charming you would be hard-pressed to believe he is so cruel...
also my boss is libra rising and the scales just go berserk most of the time, smtimes she is full of love and sooooo kind yet a second later she can be really cross...
libra sun people i find more mellow but then again i am not that surrounded...
also libra rising i find especially good-looking and i read they are in need of a mate more than libra sun.......

Any insights? Experiences?

I used to be a real B**ch...I've mellowed out to the point that people now think I'm weak.
I believe my personality is fairly even & predictable---as long as people don't step on the "poison square"!
--Also, it's difficult for me to be monogamous & faithful in romance...I get bored, feel trapped, & get restless. AND...I am a real romantic (Mars in Leo)...very confusing...I guess I prefer the chase.

My elder sister is Libra rising and you can tell that she seems nice even to people she doesn't really like. While those close to her know that she is quite impatient and gets bored easily. But she's not a back-stabber or anything. She hasn't broken any hearts so far.

I'd say it would depend on the sun and Moon sign. If say somene had Capricorn, or Aries etc. Sun or Moon then it's in conflict with the Libra rising so in the case of a Aries sun a more submissive Libra asc could be hiding a more combative Aries personality and the first impression or outward appearance could be misleading...

My sister has Moon in Aries, Sun-Sag. besides being Libra rising, and she is not combative at all :P She gets jealous sometimes, deep inside, and so doesn't have many female friends I know that, she also hates when people talk about their problems for hours, and she doesn't let her husband spend much time without her-, but she never could care to create trouble for anyone. She's rather self-obsessed

ah... Hard to know if thats an Aries Moon thing or Libra ascendant! Aries moon is EMOTIONALLY combatative though so it might not show itself through physical aggression but alienation maybe, when ahe FEELS hurt how she defends her emotions is by being self obsessed maybe? I would be a little self obsessed too but I always associated that with sun in the first house. Hmm

My older brother has Libra Rising (Cap sun and Moon). He could talk anyone into anything. He's incredibly charming and can turn that charm on and off as he pleases. I wouldn't say he's misleading overall, but when it comes to relationships that's a completely different story. He's dated a lot, and isn't particularly sensitive about leaving, cutting someone off, or just moving on and I've heard a lot of bad about him because of that. When he's serious about someone though, that's it. There just haven't been many women who have gotten to him in that way.
