Ok...all of you Aries women...or those with strong Aries placements who are either astrologers or have it as a serious hobby...who are in the house say "I!"

I've noticed (Linda Goodman aside) that so many of the people that have taught me something about astrology have been Aries females.

Any of you who want to share how you got into it and how much it's a part of your life? I'm kinda curious if there are a really large number of you or if I just tend to draw them to me!

(I have Aries on my 7th house cusp, and Venus and Saturn in Aries)

I have Sun and Venus in Aries
Sag rising
Moon in Cap
Mars in Pisces; but a bunch of Neptune conjunctions, including ascendant.

I have always been interested in astrology, starting with a weird Atari game where you would go into exotic locations like "Venus's Grotto." I blame the 70's illustrators for making the Zodiac so cool and visual.

I think my understanding of astrology is basically through "feeling" or just the vibes I get, if that makes any sense. I rely too much on archetypes.

I wish I was better at mapping conjunctions and remembering things.

I hope this reply wasn't too ephemeral.

Right here!

I have a Moon, Venus, Jupiter, 7th house cusp all in Aries

As for how I got into Astrology? Through my awesome mother, who has strong Scorpio influences in her chart. Not surprising, given that Scorpio and Aries are like cousins

*raises hand, I*

Aries Sun, Saturn and Mars all in my 11th.

I became interested in astrology when I was in my teens. I taught myself the symbols and lingo. I learned how to read a chart, although I still feel that I'm such a novice. astrology is a language that speaks to those that will listen...
I truly think that reading ones own chart is the most difficult, because it is hard to remain objective.

Aries female sun in 1st house here...and i have an aries AC anddd, i have jupiter in aries in the 1st house AND i have my true/mean node in aries in the 1st house, but i'm not really sure what that means?? maybe that means i'm not so much like an aries-- i'm not so sure..anyone have any info??? : )

it's funny, within the past year or so i have become so interested in astrology, i went out and bought a bunch of books (of course linda was amongst them). i became interested when i wanted to understand a specific love interest and myself, as well as the people around me. i had gotten a chart briefly read but i wanted to know more and then a friend of mine showed me an "everything you need to know about astrology" book and the rest is history. lol. OH! and i usually go to astro.com when i(and my friends) want to know about about them and relationships however i take it all veryyyy lightly.
astrology has really gotten me interested in other similar topics, like palmistry and such. hope this helps!

Lol Rainbow...did you hold down the trigger button at the same time that you turned on your Atari to get the extra point while playing Space Invaders? (MY Gemini brother taught me that trick. He had the fastest thumbs of anyone I've ever seen!)

Erica, I agree that Aries/Scorpio are like cousins. Occasionally, I have to separate mine at family get-togethers before they give eachother a black eye!

It is hard to remain objective, Charlotte! Since I'm still learning, I tend to look at people I know to test theories, etc.

Lovethemind, I would think that your first house placements make you much more like an Aries than not! Aries is the natural ruler of the first house, your sun is you, your AC is how you appear to others and Jupiter is the planet of expansion. Learning about it all can be consuming!

Personally, I began to study astrology to look at relationships and interactions between other people. (I have Venus in Aries in my 7th.) It makes sense to me that I would draw Aries women into my life because Venus is the house of relationships of all kinds. I'm just wondering why it seems to be astrology in particular. I don't know a lot of Aries women in other capacities.

Theories, anyone? Thanks for responses thus far!

Another 8th house Aries here (Sun/Moon/Venus/Mercury).. X3 I've always been fascinated by what's mysterious and related to symbolism and psychology. And for me, astrology is a really beautiful system of symbolism. X3

Well, since I was born in an oriental environment, fortune-telling/superstitions stuffs have always been kinda present (kinda like a brainwash lol). I was always curious about those stuffs ("hmm how's my luck today? XD "), but I actually only got more into astrology since some few years ago. ^_^;

About how I interpret astrology stuffs - I don't really care much for the previsions side (although I'm curious about it sometimes, and well, I see it as a kind of prevision of the potential energies), but it helped me to achieve a deeper understanding of what its system of symbolism represents - mainly psychology (of myself, relationships, etc.).

quote:

I think my understanding of astrology is basically through "feeling" or just the vibes I get, if that makes any sense.

Actually, I also interpret astrology by "intuition". ^_^ I always try to picture the stuffs through "feelings".

Aries moon here.. My sister also has Aries moon, and my mom is an Aries.

I remember going through little books of our signs when we were like, 10, lol.

I didn't know what my Moon sign was until recently though. The two things that made me a bit more interested in Astrology was when I found out that all my closest girlfriends since I was 12 had Mars in Scorpio(all 5 of them) and since I'm a Scorpio that was weird. Then I found out the closest boyfriends I've ever had and an ex had Venus in Scorpio- so I was like wow ! Another interesting point is I remember in each one of these cases they were the ones who approached me first.

The other thing was when I found out that there had been this thing called Mars retrograde during 2001-2004 which happens once in a 100 years or so, and means a lot of changes in Scorpios lives and if I had to put my life into chapters that period would certainly have been the most exciting awkward and awful one so again, that made me look at astrology in a different way.

As an Aries moon of course

Aries women are fascinating and charming in presenting the honest truth and optimism of what they see in the charts.

Linda Goodman was Aries Sun in the 9th house with Leo Rising. She has been an awesome writer who has inpired all of us here at LindaLand.

Thank you Linda. And, Thank you Aries ;-)

Oooo... I've just got the Moon in Aries, but it is the handle of my bucket chart, so I relate to others using it more often than some of my other planets.

I got into astrology after reading Linda Goodman's Star Signs. I was 14 at the time. I think part of why I had an interest in astrology was because I really wanted to study it to see if it had any validity.

The tattoo I got for my 24th birthday this past year has to do with astrology. I figured that since I'd been studying it for 10 years, I should celebrate it as a part of my life. I didn't want to get a boring old astrological symbol thing, so I got a very feminine looking phoenix (Scorpio rising) with a rose (symbolizing my all my earth- Virgo Sun, Mercury, and Venus), and I was going to get fire (for my Aries Moon and fire grand trine), but I found this PERFECT picture online that was exactly what I wanted (except for the fire), so there is a rainbow on there instead since that's what the picture had.

I am a Pisces Sun, but with Aries moon, mars and venus.

I have been fascinated by astrology since I was a little girl.

My Aries Sun sister also loves astrology.

To me I just "feel" like it just makes sense that is the only way I can describe it.

Aries sun in the 8th.

I was in trouble in school for not doing a homework assignment in the 4th grade. Had to pick a subject out of the encyclopedia. I picked "z" and discovered the zodiac. That is how i got interested in astrology.

this is so cool! so nice to see that i am not the only one...enchanted (hehe) by astrology.
i would have to agree with Linda, it definitely does offer some answers.
Oh! and Comica, i TOTALLY agree with you...it does "help me achieve a deeper understanding of what its system of symbolism represents"

andddd YES! i def use my intuition often and i almost feel very psychic at times...i feel peoples feelings and thoughts/ their vibes. but then again, that could be my Mercuy and Venus (both 12th house) in Pisces...hehe...who knows.

Thanks all! : )

Aries sun & mercury!

My aunt picked up Sun Signs at a recycled book store more than 5 years ago and let me borrow it. I have always been fascinated by it but never really knew its depths. I immediately fell in love with the book and knew Linda was amazing at writing, so I picked up other books by Linda and went on my own studies at the University of Google.

Anytime anyone has a question about astrology or refers to it, i'm there to either answer the question or correct them!
