I broke off our longterm relationship seven months ago, have dated someone since, but thought about my ex just as much. My heart still hurts. Although no contact, I know he hasn't let go either; but bec of a cultural difference, etc, it wouldn't have worked. I can see some obvious aspects that jump out, but it's always nice to hear things from you guys on here because there's always plenty I dont know... Thankyou

7 months is no time at all. A relationship breaking up can feel like a bereavement and we all know that takes time to get through. Now I am paraphrasing John Edward here - you won't get over losing your loved one, but you can get through the experience and come out at the other end of the valley. Similar might apply here. In time the pain will fade, but that doesn't mean you will ever 'get over him' entirely, feelings might remain. You're the Moon Trine Pluto person, right? Feelings run deep with Moon/Pluto. His Mars Uranus Trine lies across it natally. It's not like a transit or progression trigger that is going to pass with time. That Mars Opposite Venus/Neptune is another strong attraction built into your natal charts. This time it is his Moon built into it. It doesn't mean you won't find happiness with someone else, I just think it might take a while for you to come to terms with the loss of this relationship. If you try to think on the lines of getting over him/moving on it might not help. I hope I'm making sense? IP: Logged |

Thank you bluemoon. You're right.. Seven months isn't very long. Of course to everyone else I seem happy and I get through things just fine, but like I said my heart hurts, I still cry. I don't doubt I'll be able to meet someone again someday, but I don't think I'll ever forget him. Its hard. I thought maybe it was the North node with my sun, or venus opposing his mars... I dont know... I guess it doesn't matter now though really.IP: Logged | |
