I have found lately my 7th house fascinating since i am getting older (!) and past several rships yet keep making hte same stupid mistakes again and again...

As Liz Greene says, if u have Saturn in 7th u find that close rships tend to be dragging, they have the ability to make u feel extremely uncomfortable unless it is a rship purely based on "love", not on money, social conventions,etc..

Yet, what is love today in the age of the modern woman? This is tricky because i pay for my own flat and hold down a job, yet emotionally i am incomplete... On top of that i have a conj of venus and mars in my 7th which makes it double hard...As i tend to be extremely passional and have trouble differentiating between love and sex...

People with harsh aspects in 7th are supposed to find the "other" inthemselves, which has made me go trhough therapy to relieve a troubled childhood and to understand my patterns when it comes to rship...yet..yet.yet...

Anyone in the forum care to add some of their experiences or suggestions?

saturn in the 7th just means you are going to learn a great deal or have to learn a great deal from relationships. I was playing relationship couselor for a gemini girl with this placing, I saw it as dumbfoundedness in her relationships.. just stupid relationship questions.. what does it mean when he does this or what should I do about this. nevertheless I hold high respect for her as she has maintained her virginity i think she also has uranus and neptune in the 7th as well. she is an interesting girl but i never took much interest. I was shocked to find out she had venus right on the ascendant in the first next to her mercury (also conjunct the asc) all in Gemini so she had quite a stellium in gemini. but i couldnt make the connection cause she was also somewhat overweight. but she has lost a good amount but I can see that if she was nice and fit she would look very attractive in a geminian way, she has a very excited and flitty girly look, air!

seeing i think as saturn cannot be technically called a transpersonal planet but almost the consequences are felt in a unconscious way which may result in feelings of bewilderment when sthing doesnt work out..i also find myself forevr thinking on why this happened, why this and that,etc...

Yet all my close rships with the opposite sex are TROUBLESOME no matter what is the prevailing theme (love to me, most often than not)

From a few weeks ago. I finally have noticed that I do disown my pluto (see what Blue Moon wrote on that post), moon and uranus. I can definitely see that I seek pluto, ura in others. Still trying to see how moon operates. I can think of someone I know of who is very likely to have ura/pluto in their 1st house (don't know their exact birthtime but have a fairly good idea of it) and am totally mesmerised by them. They also have moon squ ura.

As for my partner, he has his moon in my 7th, it is a sco (pluto) moon (moon) conj ura (ura). You can oddly see how I found what I needed in him!

I know someone with saturn in the 7th and their partner is 8 years older than them. My partner also has a very good chance of having saturn in the 7th (and it is in cancer, I don't know his birthtime) and I'm a few months older than him, I also notice that I do provide structure to his life as well, I organise the home for him. My saturn would also be in his 7th.

You called?

My husband says some of his co-workers are surprised he is married. I've met some of them and they were shocked when they met me because I an not the same age/nationality/social status. Well, d'oh, I don't have a beard either.

Troubled relationships? Nope, can't say so. As I have pointed out to the man himself I have lived with him for longer than his mother put up with (she packed him off to naughty boy school in his mid-teens). But he says I'm no picnic either.

My childhood wasn't perfect but my parents are decent people and I am disinclined to criticise.

Key words here: age difference, responsibility (I take care of a lot of business, a lot of traditional male roles, he works away from home a lot)

Oh and let's put in

I didn't marry him for that but together we have got along and managed to make some, it does matter if you have kids to feed, clothe, house, educate, blah, blah, etc.

yes saturn often means in 7th older partners, or wealthy ones but apparently often also restrictions in that one tends to go into a rship wih inadequate feelings, maybe choosing the wrong partner because he/she has not done the homework as relates to his inner self, bla bla bla... not to sound too naff but apparently placements in 7th are about learing a lot........... sigh........... gasp.......... no chance of a partner then? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I don't feel inadequate or like I've chosen the wrong partner. I lived with him when I was 21 and now I'm nearly 40 ~ I genuinely like the old tosser even if he is hard work, I'm not sat here because I haven't got a choice.

Between 21 and 40 there is a lot to learn, no surprises there.

Winky, who says you won't find the right person? Only you if you decide you aren't worth it. You should be telling yourself you are a prize that no-one has won yet.

That sounded a tad shallow, unless i didn't really get the point of that post.

sorry I basically just started rambling about a story. I was just saying I know the girl with saturn in the 7th I actually think its opposite her sun or venus or mercury. I forgot.. I just know she has dealings with alot of guys and she is confused or just doesnt understand alot about relationships cause she was never really in one until college.. but she gets upset with most of them. and she has alot to learn from them hence her 7th house saturn. I didnt mean to be shallow its the truth, she is a great girl. I just didnt expect her to be slightly overweight with venus and mercury conjunct the asc and all the placements in air and fire. and with her being around the different guys she told me about them and Im was just surprised she hadnt lost her virginity yet and she told me she was going that far and I respected her for that.

Seeing Stars 7.21There was no need to apologize. We, or let me speak for myself, "I" just didn't understand what you were saying. That's all.
