If your ascendant conjuncts (tight orb) another person's ascendant, does that mean that all the houses are conjunct too? Like for example, the 1st house conjuncts the other person's 1st house, then the 2nd house conjuncts the other person's 2nd house and so on?If so, is it a good or bad thing? I'm just starting to get into the houses in synastry so please forgive me if this has been asked before. I don't think we have a search feature. ------------------ Virgo Asc & Mars Gemini Sun Libra Moon Gemini Mercury Cancer Venus IP: Logged |

No, just because the asc are conj does not mean the other houses are. House cusps are incredibly sensitive to where a person is born and what time of the year too. They vary in size too (if you aren't using "equal houses" method of chart drawing). An example, A lot people who live very far from the equator (eg N Europe) can have very skewed looking charts, those that live closer can have more regular charts when it comes to cusps. Another example is that charts can contain a lot of duplications/interceptions etc that would be hard to replicate in another's chart. If there are other cusps that are conj I can only hazard a guess that these two people have a similar view of the issues pertaining to the house in question. I use equal, so any house that is conjunct, all the other houses will be too.Seems good, escpecially with the same ASC. Much more likely to get each other in behaviour/outlook etc IP: Logged |

TOO much similarity can be a downfall though. Difference is what makes it interesting !IP: Logged |
