I am trying to look into the importance of chiron in synastry and would like some of your intuitive ponders on the matter.

For example: what might it mean for a relationship to have Venus/chiron both square and opp. OUCH? But also moon/chiron conjunct...Yey? Also there is chiron/uranus opp and chiron/north node conjunct.

I am trying to get my head around such a crazy mix. Thank you.

sunbeam i have my chiron aspecting almost all the planets of this bloke and the relationship is very painful, chiron apparently representing wounds; probably even worst in my case as it is placed in my 5th house of love...
I also discussed this matter in another forum and the responses i got was "pain"
dunno if this rings any bells with u

Pain can be useful ~ it pinpoints damage so it can be healed ~ even if it leaves a scar.

bluemoon i believe these kind of issues can only be worked if both parties involved are mature enough and DO want to work on them...for some people they would rather keep living in fantasyland and not evolve or change...my experience so far...but thanks for ur input

Moon/Chiron conjunct - the Moon person just wouldn't be able to keep their emotional walls up around Chiron. Chiron could see right through them.

The other aspects, I'm afraid I just know the magi-astrology stuff about that. Venus/Chiron clash is the Impossible Dream, and Uranus/Chiron means Infidelity.

I like the thought, though, that whatever is aspecting the Chiron just cannot keeps its defences up against Chiron. Venus/Chiron would then also mean that the Venus person just could not hide their desire from the Chiron person, even if they wanted to.

i found that:

An astrologer named Dawn writes:
"The way Chiron seems to work in synastry is that the Chiron person will feel any kind of 'wounding' the other person feels in regards to the planet involved. Chiron is extremely empathetic that way. With Venus, the issues will be self-worth, values, etc. How much Chiron gets 'fired up' will depend on the individual Venus involved. The more 'difficult' the individual Venus aspects, the more intense the Chiron reaction. Chiron just wants to give, and Chiron's own wound is inflamed when the gift is rejected. With Venus/Chiron, there may be a question of a conflict in values and/or desires. What I want for you is not what you want. Or the Chiron person, in the intense desire to heal the other's wounds, will actually make the Venus person feel more wound and less self-worth. The opposition has conflict inherent in it, but also the means to resolve that conflict, so it is not so difficult as the square. Given the fact that you both have the inter-aspect, you are both working to heal one another's Venus issues, and if you are aware of this it will breed less strife."

CHIRON CONJUNCT NORTH NODE
There is an attraction, a feeling of kindred spirits, of travelling the same or similar spiritual pathways. The Chiron person, however, simply by being him or herself, always draws the Node person back to the path whenever he or she tends towards the South Node.
This can be both positive and negative. Positive, in that the North Node person's growth is greater, more advanced, more constant. Negative, in that the North Node person finds that they can't take a vacation from the hard work of evolution easily unless they take time away from the Chiron person.
The Chiron person opens doors for the North Node person, removing obstacles, showing shortcuts and novel ways to proceed, so the North Node person finds they do not have any reasonable excuses to avoid evolving.
The Chiron person in the relationship becomes all the more Chiron, because the North Node person draws out the Chiron person's higher self. The Chiron person learns much about him/herself in the relationship, and as a result becomes much more true to his/her unique purpose. He or she becomes less just one of the herd, and more and more, a maverick, or listens to 'the beat of a different drum'. In fact, the longer the two are together, the less important it will be to the Chiron person what 'they say', as in what the opinion of the public, or the establishment, is of him or her.

HMM

what are the degrees of the aspects?

Magi only counts if within 3šin orb..

as for the venus/kiron skuare they say it+s the impossible dream..but its not unmaneagable.

As Blue Moon says to exist healing must exist the wound and that envolves pain.Thtīs not entirely bad if the two persons are aware of those energies and how they can interact in order to smoothe the "aspect".

See if in natals you both have turbulent angles with kiron ( skuare, oposition and kikunkx) - if both have, then Magi also says that the Impossible Dream aspect is nothing to worry about

Relatively to the kiron/uranus oposition i dont necessarily agree with the infidelity thing. I ve already heard many times that that same aspect can be very well a generational one,so dont worry.

Kiron-moon conj itīs incredible one its magic!
