If you do an search on the 'net you will find loads of stuff about it. On the bit below it was me that put "real" in inverted commas. Now this is just my opinion, but many people in the modern world have trouble with the concept of a symbol. Astrology, being an ancient art, was around for the many centuries when people had a different view of the world and a different concept of reality.
Below is what actually appears in the sky, but as the article points out isn't what is used in either the Western Tropical zodiac or the Sidereal Zodiac. Personally, I can't see how it matters greatly. This isn't science. A chart isn't an actual thing (the paper it is printed on is though).
Why wasn't Ophiuchus ever used? I'm inclined to agree with the Startistics people that 12 signs went better with our solar calendar. Maybe there were subconcious and numerical reasons.
