So, i asked this question in another thread.. but now i can't remember which thread it was. Therefore, i shall post a new topic so that my curiosity can be satisfied. So personal plants aspected to Pluto are supposed to be powerful, as we all know. However, while i was reading through some synastry articles, i kept coming across "double whammys are powerful and wonderful under most circumstances". Well, since Pluto and personal planet aspects are powerful in themselves, i can only wonder about double whammys between two. For example, would Venus/Pluto or Mars/Pluto double whammys be magnetic, transforming, intense, and amazingly sexual? Or would it be completely jealous, possessive, controlling, and destructive to both partners?

I share some Pluto aspects with a girl I know since I was about 10. We share a double whammy Moon-Pluto conjunction (both moons and plutos in libra) and let me tell you, I still have feelings for her til this day.We also share my sun and mercury trines her Pluto. My Venus squares her Pluto (8 degrees), my Neptune sextiles her Pluto (generational since both are slow moving). Her Venus sextiles my Pluto. We have several other Pluto to personal planet connections but I can't remember them all. I just learned that the moon-Pluto conjunction in a natal chart signifies STRONG emotions and a life path heavily intertwined with relationships. We both have this! And in synastry, it signifies strong love emotions for each other. Since I learned about this, it has taught me a lot about myself. I'm a emotionally intense person in relationships and have always wondered why until I found out abou that. ------------------ Virgo Asc & Mars Gemini Sun Libra Moon Gemini Mercury Cancer Venus

i believe absolutely FATAL unless other love ties are overwhelmingly GOOD because, and pardon my snobbishness, most folk are not evolved enough to learn pluto´s lessons...sorry to be so blunt, recently the divine and enlightened nance mccullough included pluto contacts in her obviously sexual aspects but, to me, they are too intense...speaking from experience now come to think of it i cannot really say why is hard to put away some aspects from the whole i had with this crush double whammy venus sq pluto and mars sq pluto IP: Logged |

I think we have to look at the type of aspect that Pluto would form to personal planets. Like trines and sextiles would be more FATED than FATAL, and squares and oppositions would more than likely be FATAL.IP: Logged |

I join in to winkywinky's statement. I recently experienced a love-thing (Synastry) with Pluto cj. Venus - me being the Pluto-person. Obviously none of us, neither the guy, nor me, were "evolved" enough to deal with it. Great passion - but also great aggravation, mindgames, suspicion. I never had experienced a Pluto-Venus-aspect like that before. It was exhausting, it hurt (both sides) - and at the end it all bordered to hatred, I guess. But the drive to one another was so strong, against all reason ... that I wonder whether I'd be able to resist such a strong temptation next time.... I'd be careful, would rather avoid it, from my latest experience. On the other hand ... it was VERY intruiging in the beginning, unavoidable. (Now it seems that NOTHING GOOD has been left over, though.) IP: Logged |

I personally think the outer planets are overrated in synastry. Why??? Because the outer planets (ESP pluto) are so slow moving its like saying you have fated/fatal connections with everyone in an entire generation. Thats my opinion anyway IP: Logged |

I think you also have to take into account what aspects a person has natally. I have Venus square Pluto natally so the way I handle that energy in a relationship and how I feel about it is probably going to be different than for someone who doesn't. I have this aspect with anyone I date who is close to my age (ie - my Venus will square all of their Plutos) so I look at it as an aspect (lesson/fill-in-the-blank) to learn throughout my life. For everyone else, it's more of a temporary experience perhaps. The same goes for my ex, with whom I had a double whammy of my Venus squaring his Pluto and his Venus conjuncting my Pluto. He also has Venus conjunct Pluto in his own chart and so that's an energy he's using in this lifetime. Was the relationship intense? Um, yeah. In every way. And now that I've moved on to less intense encounters, I have to say I do miss the hard Venus/Pluto aspects. IP: Logged |

yeah, you're not going to feel every pluto aspect you have with everybody... I believe something else has to set it off... ie, other strong syanstry ties, or, if you have Pluto strong in your chart... you're going to more readily feel that intense energy and be drawn to it.IP: Logged |

Mmh, what about strong aspects to the ruler of 8th house? Those would be VERY indidividual, and to me they always have a highly plutonic feel.DD IP: Logged |
