somebody's saturn (my mum) is sitting right on my ascendant and has always been there!(Also her natal pluto very close to my sun in leo)
Is there anybody here with this same synastry? How does it work out?

It works out that your Mama is always there for you.

In Lyn Birbeck's "Do It Yourself Relationship Astrology" he says:

"this Key Contact is very much a parent/child kind of relationship, literally or figuratively. It falls to the Saturn person to be the teacher, guide and setter of limits with regard to the Ascendant person..."

If this was your boyfriend/girlfriend this could be a real drag, but in a mother, at least from my point of view, she is just doing her job.

The Sun/Pluto contact is quite intense and may seem a little over-powering, possibly including power struggles. But that doesn't have to be all bad. Setting limits comes into plenty of relationships and helps them work. In a parent/child relationship that is particularly the case.

I have my saturn also conjunct venus in my daughters chart and I was a bit worried about that too.
Also I noticed that every time there is a moon/pluto conjunction in natal, solar or progressed chart, there is a sort of power struggle going on with my mother, quite intense.I have a moon sextile pluto aspect in natal chart.

My dad, best friend and niece are all Saturn to my Venus. The niece is still a child but the other two are the ones that are there to support me if things really get bad. I know I can rely on them. I don't think this aspect is bad, maybe if it was a romantic relationship it might seem cramping but in this context I don't find it so. I'm just grateful.

ehhh.. made a mistake. It's not saturn conjunct her venus but chiron.(saturn is close to my chiron in pisces)Somebody told me that venus in her chart represents someone who is like a friend or sister to her mum(me). We had some emotional bonding difficulty in the beginning,so that must be chiron,I guess.

(I tried to find information about this conj.in synastry but I can't find it on the net.)

Both my daughter and her father have Saturn conj my ascendant.

He is the proverbial pain in my side and gets bossy whenever he is under my roof. I tell him to get eat shorts.

My daughter wants to play mommy or something and won't really listen to me even though she is 6.

Interesting.
i think that blue moon was right that this synastry is different for partner relationships and parent-child relationships.
I must say that sometimes it feels like my mum is sitting on me and I feel I need more space. But on the whole it's a positive aspect.
When older the relationship changes ..it not so much about a parent/child relationship anymore but more like being friends when together.
sorry I.D... what does it mean: eat shorts?

Some times I forget I communicate with people from other countries and don't know the local slang from where I'm from....okay Translation it's another way to tell a person to "leave me alone".
