I heard that 2012 is the ending of the world, or at least something major. Does anyone have an astrological insight as to why this might be?IP: Logged |

I think astrologically it might be the end of an era type thing like the new aquarius age or whatever they call it, the worlds not going to physically ever dissapear i dont think because we have enough resources and the capability to stop anything drastic happening to the world. I dont think its ending.------------------

New Age of light. Growing food outside our homes, sustaining communities. The Mayan calendar holds this year with great significance. I believe its A safe time to have babies again. Poles shifting. Aquarian age ascending light bodies, some faster than others. Some not making it.
Of coarse, we are already dealing with the wars and earth changes preparing for the shift. Thats what I see thats what I've heard.

The Winter Solstice will occur at the centre of the universe ~ as far as I understand it. The Mayan calendar stopped at year 2012, so this lends itself to catastrophe prophecies. BUT didn't we have the same thing with Nostradamus and 1999? Uranus is Square Pluto in 2012 which is a bit of a stinker for anyone caught in its path. I'll try and get a chart up if I can find one. This page is interesting though, with the author commenting that it is not thought that the Mayans were aware of the Precession of the Equinoxes:

yea.. this sort of worries me.. if the world is going to end I feel like there is no point in getting out there and trying to succeed. wierd thing is I could actually imagine all of this.. mehh  I hate those mayans.. there probably laughing cause they knew they would all be gone by the time this came around. ------------------

can everyone just please learn to think and act positively, learn cosmic ordering and start changing the inner self.

Exactly SilverFairy  After all, we all get in our cars every day, take planes... trust when we go to sleep that we will wake up - and yet, we seemingly have no trust in the Universe and so we try to take over and let our minds rule our thoughts and reality. No wonder the future looks grim - it starts right here inside us all. So those who get a grip will be great!

I love what I wrote earlier by the way, I have envisioned that very clearly since 1999 Others here have too right? And its not just new age junk. This is for real, people must go with the changes, and shine brightly, and destruction is likely to happen as well. Im interested in looking at charts. If the world was ending, wouldn't you just want to suck the marrow out of life; experience everything you wish to experience (not what is expected of you) and just let go of all fears? It is not an easy thing to do, to live with a small dose of fear because above all else it means that you can not depend on others for validation; and secondly, you will be rebuked and mocked a little because living as if death was close just makes a person a little eccentric. But, with that eccentricity comes a lot of joy, excitement, reward and great surprises.I literally live like the world is ending. I don't always receive what I desire because there are people's wills involved, and not a lot of people live like I do, but right now, as we speak... I can't kick myself for many things due to regret or fear. I don't even have too much capacity to feel shame. If I make a mistake, I try to rectify it as soon as possible because time is of the essence. The only thing that I have had to deal with, regarding this mentality is constantly reminding myself to not care what people think, because other than not knowing what makes me happy- they don't really care about what makes me happy. So, it is my duty to please myself. I don't ask for permission to be who I am. I am who I am. If you dig it, COOL, if you don't... "whatever". If the world was going to end, see it as an opportunity to do everything that you always wanted to do. See it as an opportunity to say everything that you have always wanted to say and a time for you to celebrate yourself no matter how screwed up you think you are. Live life like it is meaningless, in other words. I am not perfect. But, I am real. Success to me has a small portion to do with the world and has a lot to do with me. So, if I get my desires fulfilled to only have the world end tomorrow, I would have been grateful that I had the opportunity to experience that little piece of joy, even if it didn't last long because nothing lasts anyway. The world does end with every moment of our lives. The world ends with every change of our perspective on life. There is nothing to fear and there is no reason to be discouraged if the world were ending. I hope that makes sense. IP: Logged |

I dont buy that the world is going to end. People have been predicting the end of the world since the begining of time and they were all wrong, this time will be no different. And once 2012 comes and goes, they will probably say 2057 when the aqaurian age starts. ------------------
