Somehow I think this could be my friend's rising sign. If anyone with good working knowledge of Sag Rising could help me out and give me their view of what this is like I would be grateful.

About her: she is Cancer Sun, Aries Moon. She lets people know how she feels. Sometimes it would have been better to say nothing. But she can't stand b.s, and has to give it straight. The lack of tact sometimes I am thinking might be Sag. But she is honest, her stories never vary, you know the way people can embellish things sometimes for dramatic effect. She never does that.

Physically she is tall, I don't notice clothes much so I am going to be useless here. She doesn't comment much about mine either, but I think she might have said about all the dark clothes (I'm Scorpio Rising). She tends to go for pastels, being tall she looks good in trousers and blouse that kind of thing. Not really a scruffy person.

Sag rising would put her Sun in the 8th house. With all the threads on this topic I think this might fit the bill. He was around but she said he pretty much ignored her, and never really spoke to her at all. Like he was indifferent to her presence in the house.

Some of those things you mentioned also sound like Aries moon traits. I'm a Sag rising and I must admit that I don't usually speak bluntly to people - my bf does this though and he's an Aries moon. I don't like b.s. and I'm interested only in the truth - but I will never be overtly blunt about it. I find myself being more chatty and friendly and fun, with an intelligent thing to say here and there. People comment that they feel at ease with my energy and I think that's the Saggi rising thing that they feel. As for what you said about your friend's clothing style - I'm not scruffy either. But I would describe my style somewhere in between dressy and casual. If that makes any sense at all.

For what it's worth, I was thinking the same thing as GeminiLover as I was reading. My husband also has Aries moon and this sounds like him. I have Sag rising. Unfortunately I also have a Sag sun, so I don't have any clue as to how this asc. affects me-- I've never been successful in distinguishing between the two.

Which gives me an idea for a new topic...

It's likely she has Sun Square Moon so that might be why this one comes through so strong. It has caused her problems, but over all I don't have too much problem with it, I feel free to say what I think around her which is refreshing.

Generally I am quite poor at guessing Ascendants and I am going to struggle on this one.

My stepdaughter is Sag rising I should know what they are like. Not like me, Scorpio, it is hilarious us stood side by side, me with my student black and her looking like a 30 year-old executive.

Pastels? Where's her Jupiter? If she's a Sag rising and likes pastels, maybe the sign her Jupiter's in could influence that. Play around a bit with the diff AC possibilities.

I'm not into pastels so much as bright colors, but that could be my Moon and AC influence combined...For a Scorpio, I tend to stay away from the darks more than I prob should

She could be a Sag rising. I'm a Sag Rising with a fire moon, Sun square Moon (and Mars!) and Jupiter in my 3rd house. I can be pretty blunt and tactless most of the time, but I think most of that is from Uranus conjunct Ascendant and Aquarius on the 3rd house cusp ...also Venus trines my Jupiter in my chart so I come out smelling like a rose, thank GOD!

However, I think you're onto something about Aries Moon. Because while I'm always honest, I always unintentionally embellish my stories, everything. That could be a Jupiter/Pisces/3rd house combo or whatever. Everything is so dramatic, which I know comes from my Leo Moon...Aries is known for being direct and straight to the point. So maybe that's more of the influence to point to for that aspect...

Sagittarius AC, Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Leo

Fire signs are generally honest with Sags' having foot in mouth disease.
