Grrr. I'm a cool Capricorn sun, freedom loving Aqua Venus, free wheeling Sag moon, and I find I'm constantly checking my messages to see if 'he' has posted me. What's with that?? I'm not really into him that much yet, and he seems to be completely smitten.

I blame his Pluto squaring my Moon and Merc.

For some reason I need constant reaffirming posts from him to reassure me he still likes me or something? Worse, I'm not even some young, naive thing. I'm a head of household, mortgage paying 49 year old woman, long independent and single!

Really rubs me the wrong way. Also worrisome: what's going to happen when/if I fall for this guy?

Capnsag - I FEEL for you, really! I'm a Cap sun (it's a singleton and on my MC!), Aquarian Venus (in the 11th house AND in mutual reception with Uranus), a Gemini Moon, and also not exactly a school girl...and I do the SAME thing! (Even after a whole year of knowing my SO!)

I really laughed when I read this and I just had to share. I have no idea why this is, but I think we do have some pretty strong synastry, and we might even be soul mates, but I'm not sure about that one yet! lol

Anyway, you have my heartfelt sympathy...or is it empathy in this case???

Thanks, Purple_chick! Just knowing that someone else that's so similar astrologically does the same thing, helps heaps! lol.

I also wonder if it's because I have no personal water planets that I just don't 'feel the lovin' and need the constant word or feedback to know it's there!

Any Pluto/Venus aspects btwn you guys? Whenever I have someone's venus positively aspecting my pluto, I am a little obsessed over them..checking the phone all the time, wich is really unlike me with anyone else.

GemGemGem, really, a positive Venus/Pluto aspect does that? I thought I was good because his Pluto trines my Venus at 7 degrees! I was just relieved it wasn't a square or conj.

The trine does it to me EVERYTIME! If I meet someone and I start to feel obsessed, I know without fail, what his venus is. haha.

I think a lot of it has to do with your moon being squared by his pluto. And your mercury. The pluto person can have a tendency to put the moon person into this frame of mind. I've had it with someone before...

Hmmmm now; if it's HIS Pluto, then maybe he's obsessing about me more! He does tell me he's dreamed about me and thinks about me ALOT - I like that!
Looking at our synastry, whether it's squares, trines, or sextiles or Q, EVERYTHING in his chart aspects my Venus. Planets, nn, chiron, MC.

GEMGEMGEM, I disagree - and rather go with LADY NEPTUNE. I had a consuming love affair with a guy and broke-up lately after 10 months - it was my Pluto cj. his Venus. And although I was the (supposedly "stronger") Pluto-person it drained me much more than it did him, I believe me. Yes, I put him totally into my "frame of mind", as Lady Neptune put it - and I guess I was far more obessed with him than the other way 'round. (Of course there had been more Synastry-aspects adding to this - but I guess I felt that Plutonian energy strongly, it was my first love story with Pluto so strongly involved.)

CapnSag: I don't have any personal planets in water, either! BUT, I do have a natal kite formation with all those touchy-feely-intense planets: grand trine in air between venus, pluto, and my moon-saturn conjunction, with neptune opposing the moon-sat. Maybe that makes up for the lack of water and accounts for my marshmallow insides! Or as you said, maybe the lack of wwater makes us need more "proof" because we don't necessarily "feel the love"!

Lady Neptune and Gem x 3: in synastry, my pluto trines his moon and is quincunx his venus, but I DEF think I'M the one who sits around and obsesses about him! lol

Yep, you'd think I'd be more involved, with all of that energy aspecting my Venus, but I'm not feeling it. I have had that totally 'love at first sight' stuff, and in both cases, their Sun conj. my Venus, or 'lit up' my poor hidden 12th house Venus, and I felt like infatuation incarnate over the guy!

But not this one. I sometimes wonder if I find him attractive to me...like he's not quite my taste, but then our moons are trined, and his Sun trines my moon, and it just feels safe, and right, and I have to acknowledge all his good qualities. And I admit it's nice to have someone so smitten with me.

For what it's worth, the comfortable feeling I have with him from the start is probably his Venus conj. my South node. Some interpret that to mean he was my female lover in a past life!
