i recently became involved with a friend i've known for a few months..i can honestly say that i have never before been more comfortable sexually with someone. i am a virgin because sex always intimidated the crap outta me and made me feel very very insecure..i always backed out. with this guy i am 100% at ease, open, totally vulnerable..and it's awesome. we have that whole pluto-venus conjunction thing going on..his pluto, my venus..here are the other romantic and emotional aspects we have that i think may contribute to this:

Sun trine Venus
Sun conjunct Mars
Mars square Venus
Venus sextile Uranus
Pluto trine Mars
Moon trine Sun
Moon trine Mercury

(our Pluto-Venus conjunct is 1.15 degree)

Would you be willing to bet that it's the pluto-venus conjunction that is so intense here, and causing a transformation in the way both of us perceive and experience sex, and our own sexualities?

i was recently looking at the chart of when i lost my virginity and i had venus and mars on my MC conjunct my moon )

plus i had saturn and jupiter square venus!

I was 18 and it ended 2 months later but now he is my regular sex buddy lol and were great friends!

You know... By reading posts today on LL, I'm sensing a lot of prejudice today. 'pat yourself on the back' for being a virgin and what if you're not, beat yourself up?

i think we have to consider that almost half the world didn't choose to maintain their virginity. And that these life incidences can cause some self hatred especially when there's a cavalry trying to shame people for what life dealt them. And now refering to the thread on suicide, people who claim that things are weak, strong or good and bad, are the main reason why people kill themselves. Due to feeling judged by people who have never had a reason to want to die early,

sorry for using your thread to say this, but something I read here triggered my reasons for my distaste towards most humans. That is, most humans are self righteous.

as for your topic, pluto and venus definitely have a play in this.

I can relate, I've been through this myself with my ex-boyfriend. I had a Venus-Pluto sextile with him (my Pluto, his Venus), also a Venus-Mars trine and some other nice aspects. He was also my first and I was in my early 20s. All I can say is... relax and enjoy it! I hope you have a magical experience!

How does it feel for your sexual status to be part of an international row? Not sure I would appreciate it much. Some nice synastry going on there, that will hopefully help put you at your ease. Mars Trine Pluto is a powerful but harmonious flow of sexual energy. Sun Trine Venus is up there for sympathetic and kind synastry aspects.

Augentier- contrary to what some may think, I agree about waiting to have sex until you feel it is the right time. Your previous fears were probably your soul telling you to wait until now. They say that venus-pluto aspects do make a sexual union ethereal. That's me keeping to the point.

Actually, without disclosing to much information about my first experience I will say I should change my screen name to SweetRharley!

But seriously, I also see some excellent synastry between these two. The moon/sun and moon/mercury connections indicate emotional understanding. That in itself would help with the feelings of comfort she has with him.

Venus/Uranus for the spark and Venus/Pluto for intensity of feeling is a plus.

So many women (and men too I imagine) enter into sexual relations out of insecurity or needing to feel loved. Having the patience to be with someone that you truly care about is a blessing.

hey tigerlily, there's no shame in waiting for the right person! i think it shows a lot of inner strength and that you know yourself. i wish i'd done that! instead i spend most of my teenage years sleeping with almost anyone who was interested in me, if i was interested in and attracted to them (foolishly thinking it would result in a relationship). now THAT is stupid! i did it out of insecurity and to fill a void. of course there's nothing wrong with being sexually active if it's RIGHT for you and you feel empowered and good doing it. but i think generally speaking, it causes more problems and confusion (especially for girls, factoring in the emotional component- we get attached more easily and it's proven scientifically!), so i think you showed a lot of wisdom and courage.

i wasn't trying to pat you on the back. you seemed to regret posting what you did, and i felt it was inspiring and that you shouldn't feel badly about it (posting your experience).

i think your point of view is very valid and probably accurate. there are consequences to everything we do, and no doubt sex is one of the more intense activities we can share, with more intense consequences.
