Hello,I have the following synatry aspect with a person that is becoming increasingly important in my life: ME-09/03/1980 Aspect HIM-07/04/1979 Orb/Value Sun Sextile Sun 0.57 365 Sun Conjunction Saturn 1.29 170 Mercury Sextile Uranus 1.25 56 Mercury Square Neptune 0.02 -133 Jupiter Sextile Uranus 1.31 43 Jupiter Square Neptune 0.08 -104 Saturn Square Venus 0.07 -143 Uranus Conjunction Uranus 4.55 51 Neptune Conjunction Neptune 1.25 76 Pluto Sextile Neptune 1.40 29 Pluto Conjunction Pluto 3.42 50 840 -380 460 I see a hard Saturn aspect-Venus square Saturn- and also a Saturn conjunction to my Sun. The trouble I am currently having with this person is that i cant seem to be able to get him out of my mind/life, in spite of my desperate trials. And I am even starting to feel like i "owe" him something and to feel "responsible" for him on some level. The situation worries me because I dont seem to be able to find some logical explanation for it, so I made this comparison chart. Also, the attraction between me and this person has grown significantly in the last months, but seems to be of the rather "heavy" kind sometimes. Sometimes, on the other hand, it seems to be light and has a sort of "watery flowing" feeling about it. I have read on some forums that a possible explanation could reside in the Saturn aspects, especially in the Venus square Saturn, as Saturn is considered to be a "malefic" planet. Thanks in advance for any insight. IP: Logged |

wow. wow really. i dont know if this is some sort of strange sign or what...but wow. id really like to email you and chat about this guy, coz i think we need to compare notes.anyways, yes the saturn aspects defintely make it harder to leave each other, and its very common between marriages/long term relationships. i personally believe the hard aspects are better(squares/oppositions). Saturn aspects are very difficult, a bit like an albatross around your neck. In my experience the Saturn person is the more mature one who feels "responsible" for the other person. But the person who has the aspecting planet, feels very heavy, like a weight on their shoulders. My ex-husband and I shared these Saturn aspects: My Saturn square his Sun. My Saturn square his Mercury. My Saturn square his Venus. My Saturn trine his Moon. His Saturn trine my Venus. His Saturn trine my Mars. Since all of the hard aspects consisted of my saturn aspecting his personal planet, he felt very restricted by me. When our marriage was over, he was in tears and told me he could never be himself around me. He always felt censored. It was even causing him to have anxiety and nervousness, and he had physical symptoms such as breaking out into hives and depression. I never thought anything I did or said to him was restricting in any way. I honestly felt like I was trying to help. I believe it is harder on the person with the personal planet affected, than the Saturn person. (Cause Saturn is a tougher planet, it can handle it, but the personal planet may not.) The information on cafeastrology actually sums up my experience with Saturn perfectly: http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/saturninsynastry.html IP: Logged |

writesomething, its very interesting what you wrote, especially since i posted the reply yesterday, when i felt that i could no longer "run" from the situation and i must come to a decision regarding this guy soon......and i felt i wanted to talk to someone about this. How do you think we could exchange a few private messages? Should i give a messenger id or can we do this on this forum? i dont see any field for "private message"........ to peaceangel: the chart is posted at the begining of my post......that is the only one i have...should i post it again or....is it maybe not the right one? i got it on cafeastrology
to Gemgemgem: your story seems sad and i hope things wont turn out that dramatically for me and him......i keep hoping maybe there are some more flowing harmonoius aspects between us that could help overcome the difficult aspects. And i must also say that i am making very hard efforts to give him freedom and space and am very often in the situation of a parent that has a naughty child but wants to be tolerant and educate the child in a soft manner. I know it sounds crazy but this is how i feel in this relationship...

Joanyour sun is conjunct his north node. this is from cafeastrology about this aspect: When your Sun is conjunct your partner's North Node, one of the major themes of your relationship is developing each other's talents and strengths. This contact is a powerful one. Instant friendship is probable, but if there is any hesitance, it is likely on the part of the North Node person. The Sun person expresses many of the qualities that the North Node person is intuitively drawn to expressing, and any reluctance on the Node person's part really represents a fear of progress. More probably, this relationship is attractive and carries with it some unspoken promise of growth. There is a feeling of "going somewhere" through this relationship. You are likely to be quite active together, spurring each other on frequently. IP: Logged |

hi joani posted your synastry chart which is an overlay of your individual natal charts. a composite chart uses the two individual charts and their dates and finds the midpoint - the date and time between your two birth times and dates and uses that as the point of reference for a combined chart - a composite chart. if someone else can do a better job explaining that - please - i think i need the help here! Transit Venus conjunct Venus is positive for relationships. You have that going on currently. Here's some info on it.-Transiting Venus conjunct your natal Venus. This represents a fresh start in your relationships. Existing relationships may deepen in intensity or change direction or meaning in your life. It is also a good time for romance and socializing as this increases your popularity amongst other people. Attend parties or social events. This is not a good time to be alone. You are likely to be in a friendly and sociable mood. You are less likely to use moderation in self indulgence and may tend to be extravagant. But you also have transit Pluto Opposed Natal Moon: *Emotional upheaval, turmoil and change in personal relationships, and irrational, compulsive feelings are key issues during this time period. Feelings that have remained hidden or forgotten since childhood arise now. You also sometimes feel gripped by feelings and emotions that you never thought you were capable of having! +Your tendency to analyze, to probe, and generally to get at the heart of things finds itself at loggerheads with your living and support system. Others may resent your persistent prying and digging, and confrontations can be expected.

Ok, so i'm starting to understand everything much better. The composite chart is actually the same thing with the synastry chart, that is the charts of the two persons combined. I was confused, because i saw on the internet that they sometimes call it composite chart, sometimes synastry etc and a bunch of other names...and then i read about draconics, magi astrology and so on and so forth and didnt understand much of amything anymore... The field is quite new to me and thats why i needed some clarifications. I just got an E/mail from astrocenter with a commercial, but it buffled me because it said "Mars Conjunct Saturn this week: should you or shouldnt you'? If you look at one of my previous replies, you will see that that is EXACTLY the question I was asking yesterday in relation to whether or not I should act or attempt anything this week.... So I guess my question got answered, up to a certain point> we have Mars Conjunct Saturn this week.....so how does that influence my choice (other than that i seem incapable of making any decision)? For compatibility, I also like to look at Chinese horoscope signs as well. We all have a corresponding sign for the year, month, day, and time we were born. I like to look at month and day signs to see compatibility. You are day of the rabbit, and he is day of the monkey. Here's some info on the rabbit and the monkey in a relationship. The Rabbit and the Monkey are rather opposite in nature, so a mutually satisfying connection may take both work and understanding. The Rabbit's powers of compassionate perception will help this relationship a great deal, but this Sign is traditionally rather passive and more giving than it needs to be, and may end up putting more energy into the relationship than the Monkey does. The Monkey means no harm; it simply is generally most interested in pursuing its own pleasure, first and foremost. As lovers, these two have different interests. The Rabbit likes entertaining at home with dinner, candles and soft music; socially shy but very affectionate, this Sign is most comfortable in intimate gatherings. The Monkey loves a party but is a very energetic, "up" personality that loves groups, crowds, noise, lights and fun. While the Rabbit is hosting the small dinner party at home, the Monkey might be out at a nightclub or the county fair, talking and laughing and running around, trying to use up all that seemingly inexhaustible energy. These two Signs may be attracted to one another but their connection isn't likely to be based on an intense soul-recognition or meeting of the minds. IP: Logged |

To GemGem:Thank you for the very deep analysis. So, as far as transits are concerned, the answer should be that "I should". But what about that Mars Conjunct Saturn? IP: Logged |
