a lot of people with Sun in a certain sign have Mercury and Venus in different sign from the Sun..usually a next door one.

For example, my Mother has Sun in Gemini,but she has Mercury and Venus in Cancer, one of Gemini's next door signs

my maternal aunt Dominga has Sun in Scorpio,but she has Mercury and Venus in Libra, one of Scorpio's next door signs. Her Moon is in the other next door sign,Sagittarius.

The ruler of Aquarius,Uranus is sextile your Sun, and that affinity with Sun in Aquarius.
Sun-Uranus aspect is like Sun in Aquarius.

My Pisces was always there and always be, but I think, in retrospect, I did not fully come into my Piscean nature until I got older.

You are young...give yourself some time to find yourself, to find the Fish in you!

I have a Pisces father and we're just nothing alike ... So it's very hard for me to picture myself as a Pisces. I know I have other planets in Aquarius ... But I've always thought of myself as a Aquarius (I only did my natal chart with the actual birth time yesterday), so its really odd to think I'm Pisces.

You also didn't answer what you think Pisces traits and what Aquarius traits are

The Mercury and Venus in Aquarius are strong Aquarius indicators, and so it's no wonder that you can strongly relate to Aquarius. You don't need Sun in Aquarius to strongly relate to Aquarius.

Don't forget that you have Sun sextile Uranus,and that gives you affinity with Sun in Aquarius.

I don't bother with sunsign horoscopes because I am more complicated than my sunsign which is Scorpio....I have Sun,Mercury,and Venus in Scorpio....I have Moon in Pisces and Virgo Ascendant.....I feel that I have those traits strong as my Scorpio.

remember...Sunsign is only a fraction of your chart. There are so many things(other planets/points in signs,aspects,planets in houses) in the chart that modify the sun placement just like Uranus sextiling your Sun modifies your Piscean Sun traits.

I have similar personality as my mother who has Sun in Gemini,and that was one of the reasons why I was skeptic of Astrology until I was almost 28 years old. It turned out that my mother has Moon in Scorpio square Pluto,Sun sextile Pluto,and so she and I share Scorpio/Pluto traits. I have 4 planets in 3rd house,and so I can relate to communication emphasis of Gemini like she can. She has Sun in 12th trine Neptune,and I have Moon in Pisces square Neptune.....so we share Pisces/Neptune traits. She and I have other similar energies that indicate our similar personalities.

so you see....there is a lot more to Astrology than sunsigns. I was a skeptic of Astrology until I learned about moonsigns.

I have a cousin who was born on February 18th like you, and he has Sun in Pisces....he also has Mercury,Venus,and Saturn in Pisces too. He has Mars in Aquarius like me. He has Moon in Gemini. So he has significant air influence to modify his strong water influence. His Sun in Pisces is square Pluto, and so has affinity with Sun in Scorpio. He is a very intense.

I am a Sun In Aries gal and never found that I was an Aries type, despite my sun sign. I have a lot of earth in my chart and one strongly placed Cancer moon. Well I'm close to 40 years of age and I can finally see my Sun in Aries traits - I read somewhere by the time a person reaches 40 years of age the Sun sign will be strongly apparent.

Maybe you're still living the trait of your moon sign and that may confuses things but as others have said with Mercury and Venus in Aquarius that will make things seem more so Aquarian than Piscean.

Sometimes I find with people, I can pick up on sign influences over their Sun sign.....for example Beegee's front man Barry Gibb is a Virgo with a September birthday - however when I saw a clip of him in a biography talking about he always needed somebody in his life to share it with. Always needed that somebody special - sure enough he has 2 or 3 Libra planets. He is still pretty much a Virgo......

1. you come from different generations

2. he is a male pisces, you are a female pisces

3. you might have very different charts

4. there are always choices and free will. Every sign has positives/negatives. How you play it out, is up to you.
A *very* simplistic example is: Pisces can be highly spiritual - or - lost in drugs and delusional. The choice is yours.

5. Besides sun signs and the chart there are other factors such as environment, culture, upbringing and specific life experiences that make a person who they are.

I agree with what a lot of you have said! I do have a few important planets in Aquarius, so I can see their influence. I’ve done some research and I’ve decided I do believe in the influence of a cusp. I can see some Pisces in me, but I do believe the Aquarian influence is huge. Thank you Mama Mia for the information on Decans! I looked into them and found them to be very accurate! I’ve come to be able to see the Pisces influence (I’d never really looked into that sun sign before, so knew very little), but I see myself primarily as an Aquarius.

btw...it depends on the time of birth if you were born on February 18th

my cousin, Joey was born on February 18th,and he has Sun in Pisces. He was born at 4:30 PM in Alameda,California. In the UK which is Greenwich Mean Time, it's February 19th.

so it really depends on the time of birth.

also...if people have Mercury and Venus in sign neighboring to the Sunsign, of course they will strongly relate to the signs that their Mercury and/or Venus is in, and so think they can relate to signs on the cusps.

the so-called cusps is a generic explanation of why a person with a sunsign can relate to a neighboring sunsign without taking in consideration that they have planets in other signs. It's so important to always remember that astrology is more than just sunsigns.

I believe that when we use terms like cusps in regards to sunsigns, we really misrepresent that Astrology goes beyond sunsigns.

I was born on February 18 (29th degree aqua sun) as well - but i also identify very strongly with pisces. I have venus and mars (and DSC if that counts) in pisces and identified with both aquarius and pisces when i only knew about sun signs.

When i started to learn and understand astrology more in depth, i could see how my pisces qualities fit in with my personality - and i love them!
i have also noticed that i am more drawn to the pisces personality than any air sign
