I have mercury sun and mars in cancer but i dont really have any chararteristics of a cancerian and i dont even look like one!!

Why would that be?

My mums not my world i sure aint a sook and i am not clingy at all i dont even care about memories and past times and whatever else cancer loves.

Sun + Mars = Aries
You won't necessarily act like one but you'll carry traits associated with Aries such as
Leadership qualities, Confidence and Courage.
(being a Cardinal Sign, Cancer already possesses leadership qualities)

The one thing I really like about this aspect is no matter what sign it falls in, they are not afraid to stand up and defend themselves/their cause.

yeah i have mars conjunct MC i always thought that wanting to lead behaviour was from that aspect. But overall i am an easily irritable person who doesnt deal well with boredom. im very impulsive and unpredictable. i have a short temper and cant stand slow stupid people i am emotionally very strong and i only ever care about laughing and having fun. Other than all o f that i have another personality (lol) which is a very serious side to me.... i can be the most serious person for that moment i have to be. I dont take anything lightly when it comes to myself and people i know or something that concerns me. Im very serious with my love relationships and dont let noone push me around. Everything is all fun and games until i hit one of those serious moods. Oh and i have alot of pride and im very selfish

I have no idea what star sign traits these would fit in with but def not cancer!

im 25 and i am selfish but im also very giving. i am a very giving person in freindships but with family and my long term bf im selfish i think i should be the centre of their world not being spoilt or childish either but when i really sit and think about it im like that im very demanding and have a very dominant nature that i cant get rid of!!!!

Im not a virgo rising, but a cancer rising. And I know what you mean about being selfish. Its not that we are selfish about material things or affections to the people we love. It's that if we aren't number one in our beloved's eyes, we tend to go in rage or get in a mood...Basically we dont like sharing anyone or anything we think we deserve. Im very demanding as well, my Pisces boyfriend always takes note of this and dominating. Im 23. I dont think there's anything wrong with us wanting what we want. other people aren't ashamed to ask for what they want, why should we? Just as long as our "selfishnes" isn't hurting anybody then I think it's okay....
