Hey guys,I know this is an odd topic, but I was interested in seeing what others think about having dental work done in light of the upcoming eclipses, and also the Mars/Uranus opposition on August 6th? I need to schedule some dental work (broken tooth, need a crown) I have been putting it off, mainly because it hasn't bothered me up until now. And I hate going to the dentist, it's just something I dread. I tried to schedule an appointment with a new dentist. The first dental office isn't in my provider network, but they can get me in on August 4th. (higher fees) The second dental office is in my provider network, but can't get me in very soon, and they don't have nitrous oxide (which I need because I am a dental coward.) So by now, I have already spoken with 2 different dental practices, and getting ready to find a third. Is the universe trying to tell me to hold off? Would you wait until after the Eclipses, and the Mars/Uranus opposition on August 6th pass? The solar eclipse hits my Sun/Moon midpoint, and my Uranus exact at 9 Leo in the Eighth House....and I'm just thinking that maybe I don't want to be in a dental chair next week because of the Mars/Uranus opposition. Any thoughts? IP: Logged |

Hi Venus in Gemini,If you are in lots of pain, just get it done as soon as possible. The planets could just be reflecting the current circumstances. If you can wait until after the Mars-Uranus opposition, I think that's VERY WISE. Accidents are more likely to occur with that measurement. Also, what is Saturn doing in your chart and how is your natal Saturn being affected right now? It's best to go when there is a positive aspect affecting your Saturn since Saturn rules teeth and bones. I wouldn't worry too much about the eclipses, maybe wait until after the August 1st eclipse since that will conjunct your natal Uranus. You really don't want any surprises. If it is better to wait a little while longer that would suit me fine, say, another 15 years. IP: Logged |

Oh wonderful....Geocosmic Valentine said it would be best to have the work done when there is a positive aspect affecting my Saturn, because Saturn rules teeth and bones. I just looked at my chart again, and transiting Uranus is now Square Saturn. I am also wondering how long I should wait to let the Mars/Uranus Opposition weaken, since she said it would be wise to wait. Does anyone have any thoughts on timing for that? Like, how many days would you wait? IP: Logged |

Hmm ..Interesting .. not the aspects etc, however the fact that my tooth also finally gave way last Saturday and now I am scrambling to go to a dentist. I had been trying, maybe contemplating going to dentist for normal cleaning for a while. Finally the universe could no longer wait and had to chip out a part of my tooth Anyways I got an appointment for this Friday afternoon and hope there is nothing serious on other teeth along with the broken one. Its kind of worrying as went to a dermatologist earlier for skin rash related to immunity disorder and now a dentist. Hope it ends out here And ya, I am already getting some heart burn since yesterday (not sure if its due to the medication side effects, which I need to slowly stop ..I would be out of it this sunday and am hoping it doesn't do any other damage by that time) current aspects Saturn squaring I house and Mars Sq Neptune IP: Logged |

One thing that you don't want is a bad combination of mars (injury), uranus (the unusual, accident), saturn (teeth). Any those in bad aspect is bad news - see Koiflower's chart with saturn passing over ura. Also I had my wisdom teeth taken out in a detrimented saturn period (saturn in leo), the reverse of what you need. However, if things get really bad, well then you should go, emergencies should be dealt with straight away. IP: Logged |
