Virgo in Saturn ~> I've seen it associated with the credit crunch, I think that was in the British Astrological Association magazine. Saturn is working its way through my 10th house. In our household we have taken on more steady employ, but with slightly less money. Things are by no means desperate, but even so, saving pennies is something that has been on my mind. Like everyone (at least in the U.K), we have been hit by rising fuel prices and increase on interest on mortgage payments. I'd rather not pay that extra money if I don't have to, I'd like to have that spare money to waste on frivolities. But Virgo is calling in that kind of attitude and is balancing the books. How does everyone else feel about the influence of Saturn in Virgo and the credit crunch? IP: Logged |

Since nobody else has responded, I'll take a stab at it!I do agree about Saturn in Virgo and the credit crunch. For that matter, I think that whenever Saturn is in an Earth sign, the world's economies tend to go through a massive correction, whether it be credit, oil, housing, etc. IP: Logged |

Interesting observation.I can do penny pinching when required, Saturn Taurus. And raised by a parent born into poverty, she has never forgotten. IP: Logged |

Very interesting, Blue. I have very good credit, and due to company error, they closed my line of credit!!! (I had to write to the division that reinstates it, etc. even though it was their fault!)I have a friend I had to buy groceries for the other day because they're out of work and many others who are hurting financially right now. Seems pretty accurate! 8th IP: Logged |

i have saturn in virgo and there have been times when i LIVED on credit - i approach money in a very FAITHFUL way (venus is trine jupiter and saturn sextile uranus in my chart; the money does seem to show up when i really need it) - so i guess i am a closet virgo when it comes to money!i feel much more that Pluto's transit into capricorn is "ducks in a row" time and THAT is what is causing the credit crunch - tho i call it correction, and about time too...time for big money and big business to restructure, and for everyone to get a bit more down to earth! Money shows up when I really NEED it also, but after a hospitalization, with no health insurance some years back, I can say now that my credit is so bad it carries a GUN!!!IP: Logged |

we have the same problems here in australia - with rising interest/mortgage rates and astronomical fuel prices. i think it's the same everywhere.my natal saturn is in taurus in the 2nd house - so i'm very familiar with this feeling personally. i think saturn in earth signs also extends itself to earthly resources, not just financial.
