Today I've been overwhelmed with a renewal of deeply held feelings for someone I met last year and fell very deeply in love with. Due to his intense desire to establish his career here in the US and other external factors he came to the decision he was not in a place to maintain a relationship - in spite of his love for me. He is a very proud Leo and at a point in life where his career goals were very close within his reach and his top priority. On top of this he was finally able to leave a very unhappy marriage and not in a place where he wanted to commit to me, or anyone else for that matter. I did understand that he needed time to heal and also reasoned I didn't want our relationhip to wind up becoming his 'rebound' relationship.

We wound up breaking things off but staying friends. it was hard, I was deeply hurt and confused. I stayed away yet he continues to maintain contact with me, even after I told him at one point I did not want any contact with him because it hurt too much.

Since our break up he did indeed put all of his energy into his career objectives. He has been working anywhere from 60-90 hours a week!!!! He makes a point of leting me know he has no social life...and no sex life...though he doesn't complain about this, he acknowledges it is his choice; his means to an end.

Though we do not spend time together since our breakup, he still shares his victories and defeats with me (by phone) as well as sharing his thoughts and feelings on a variety of things. At times he apologizes for his inability to get together with me and even promises it will get better. I interpret this as his way of telling me he still has feelings for me, he tells me how very special I am, that he has never known anyone else like me.

Maybe I am being foolish, but I find myself STILL wondering if we will find our way back to one another in the not-too-distant future.

So my question today is this: Are there any transits or prosgressions that indicate the two of us reconnecting as a couple? I'm attaching links for our composite, and natals.

Thanks for the warm welcome back I know I have not been around for some time. Life just zips by it seems. Nice to see familiar folks like yourself Zala.

As you will see, Saturn is fast approaching his natal Venus. I neglected to mention that his zealous career pursuit has presented an opportunity in a city about 1.5 hours from where we live now. He does not like the city, but is willing to go there to start up his career. He told me earlier today that he's also been contacted for a position locally - though the nature of his profession (firefighter/paramedic) entails a very lengthy hiring process and he is much closer to obtaining the more distant job HOWEVER he did say that even if he took the other job, if the local one were to offer to hire him he would resign from the distant one to come back here. So there is still some hope in this area...

He's a VirgoVenus so he is not one to easily express his innermost emotions, he has always been very cryptic - but I am very persuasive and can sometimes coax his true emotions out of him

I'm quite reticent about sharing my true feelings, but while we were together I waxed on about my true feelings for him which in turn made it a little easier for him to do the same. Now however I am too reluctant to do so because of the rejection I experienced when we broke things off. It's kinda funny how we manage to very cryptically express feelings we have for each other even to this day.

I don't think you are being foolish. It has been my impression since last year that you two do indeed share a beautiful connection. Not without its challenges.
I really hope he will come around.

but u have lots of planets in the 7th which usually point to sharing on an equal basis, as u said he tells u all, and u have growth (jupiter) in the house of children and self-expression, so a good 5th house is usually a blessing

it looks nice but any problems will surely arise from the squares from mars to uranus or pluto, here are power struggles and separation, mars sq uranus is usually quite separative, but u also have nice aspects to offset all this, namely supported chiron and neptune

Sorry I lost track of this thread I started. So nice to read your positive thoughts! Someone (can't recall who) mentioned last year that we would be having a rough two years ahead of us with t.Saturn making some tough aspects to our composite. Well one year down, one to go, LOL.

It's funny, Saturn is conjunct his Venus any minute now and he has been making more contacts with me. The other morning he shared some amazingly beautiful poetry with me. Very mushy stuff...didn't "give" the poems to me, but thought to share 3 of them at such an early hour of the morning. Of course I choose to read into it a little
