I know this Gemini sun/moon/venus with Leo rising...and the guy completely overwhelms me, to the point where I cant speak to him for awhile because of his "intensity", and clingy/neediness. It was a real BIG turn off, when I barely knew the guy, and he already seemed clingy/lovely dovey to me.IP: Logged |

That's strange, I would think with so much Gemini, he would be detached. I'm a Gemini Sun/Moon/Mercury with a Leo rising, and people always tell me I'm very distant at first. It takes me a while to warm up to people.I don't know where his other planets fall, but it seems out of character for a person with so much Gemini, so be easy on the poor guy, he must really like you!  Also, I don't think Leo rising lends itself to clinginess. I would think more independence and pride. IP: Logged |

he must be CRAZY about you...gem's in my experience are not clingly lovey dovey words kinda guys...always seem hard to get to the real core of a gem...ah but they sure are fun.IP: Logged |

writesomething,If his Moon is conjunct his Sun and/or Venus,
that would definitely suggest the Cancerian traits you described.
Planets are often stronger than the signs they inhabit.
The Edgar Cayce readings deal almost exclusively with aspects,
and greatly downplay the importance of sign placements. I'm thinking that many people would not find his sensitivity such a turn-off.
I hate to say it, but, it may just be that you are a rather insensitive person.
At least, that is how you strike me after reading a number of your posts.
Perhaps the truth is that the two of you are not a very good match?

funny whenever i meet geminis we get on like a house on fire - at first - they are all over me, my best friends...and then poof! in a cloud of smoke they just vanish...i wouldn't think leo rising would be clingy either, but maybe trying to bowl you over, sweep you off your feet..?IP: Logged |

I know a 10th house Gemini Sun with Leo Rising. She's in my improv class. Being Gemini Rising myself, we connect fairly well.She doesn't wear her emotions on her sleeves at all! Instead she is incredibly subtle in revealing her emotional nature. She is a fairly frequent interupter in conversations, with a bit of a penchant for stories no one is really all that interested in. That is, she is that way in class. I've hung out with her outside of class, and she doesn't come across so annoying. I see in her a loyal friend. She is someone I could count on if I ever needed anything. She is very generous towards her loved ones. She is a hell of an earner, too. She's a test away from being a full fledged architect. Actually his sun doesnt conj his moon, but does conj his venus. It isnt that sensitivity is a turn off, quite the opposite in fact. Im just not comfortable with it from strangers, people I dont know. People who try to rush relationships/love, always make me uncomfortable. I dont trust anything that is quick, and swift...he seemed emotional/mushy way too quickly for my taste. I like emotional men, but I like emotional once I know the guy, not when I first meet him.
Im a sucker Cancer guys.
I think the fact he has venus opposite uranus, and aquarius house descendant, and leo rising triggers his reactions to me. He knows I dont fall for just anybody, im extremely cautious when comes to love/relationships, and just him wanting what he cant have. Either that, or hes nuts. I dont know.
I come off insensitive to people who dont know me, but truth is, Im a pretty caring sensitive girl. We're all misunderstood, me being one who has dealt with it her whole life.

i dated a leo rising who was all open about his feelings and really loving and overly intense and it flattered me a lot but looking back he just wanted to be in love and i was a nice mirror to reflect on. 
but really the leo risings can come on strong at times if they are immature or messed up and too selfish for any reason
not to diss people who have it...in fact there was a time i wished i had it. just a self centered or immature person who has it, can be overbearing and "romantic" to an extremeIP: Logged |

is this sun conj venus a bit feminine? just saying so because i have met a sun conj venus in aries + libra asc and he is quite sweet... also leo rising i know and hmmmm this is with leo sun and he is quite LEO!
