So, I think hes either a Capricorn, Taurus, or Virgo....first of all: hes a professor of a very elite school. has written many books. has a phd. has traveled a lot. speaks more than 1 language. so if hes a CAPRICORN: he has mercury in aquarius conj jupiter in aquarius. if hes a TAURUS, he has taurus mercury trine mars, and a very loose trine to saturn. if hes a VIRGO, he has sun conj mercury, sun conj saturn, mercury in virgo conj saturn in virgo. which one do you think someone with description best fits him? im thinking either cap or virgo.... Virgo looks like the best fit, to me. Those Saturn conjunctions to his Sun and Mercury would provide the general and academic discipline needed to complete a PhD. Since it's a common conjunction it may just be a coincidence, but most of the people I know who are academics have Sun conjunct Mercury. IP: Logged |

I would say Capricorn Or very strong Saturn influence. All of the people I know who have completed PHD's have Capricorn/Saturn strong in their charts - you need this for the sheer time & patience it takes to complete a doctrate.Mercury conj Jupiter can account for the multi-ligustic skills In Aquarius for the professor of an elite school. How do you know he's an earth sign? Cap fits for the professor. But when I first read your desription of him I thought of sag. The laugh could be sag or aqua influences. Myabe he's a cap/sag/aqua...? I can't wait to find out! When will you ask him? IP: Logged |

Kick it, Writesomething: On the one hand: ok, sounds plausible. Can you ask him? I'm dying to know! And on the other: I have to disagree about the saturn and mercury. I'm not saying it isn't important, but it isn't the only scenario. He's going to need air to be insanely smart. He'll need the earth, definatly, to be able to stick to a PhD. But air is definately needed. And sags are known for being professor, although that doesn't mean it's the case. Sorry, I've been really indecisive lately. IP: Logged |
