Oh this guy..He always talks about how he is affected by the environment and a need for meditation so he could be Cancer ascendant. He seems very sensitive and caring. If not, I'd say perhaps Taurus asc. Because he looks odd but very natural, not dramatic. IP: Logged |

His colouring is very cancerian. Very pale. Because he has a rounded head and the look, kind of indicates either cancer or tau. But his nose is more taurean. I'd say Tau rising. EDIT - however, cancer rising would have moon as chart ruler --> tau.
Tau rising would have venus as chart ruler --> aries. Oddly, first shot, his eyes look cancerian. Last shot more aries. IP: Logged |

Maybe cancer ac. A tau ac might have fuller lips one would say? But if so, venus is in aries in his chart, which is in detriment might lead to less prominent lipsIP: Logged |

Yes, oddly I was thinking libra ac when I first saw him. He is quite symmetrical and lighter in colour. And yes its hard to divorce the aqu away to determine his appearance. IP: Logged |

Hi writesomething,Libra rising people have normally brown big eyes and oval face (I know it from myself and from other people around me). That is why I don't believe that many famous men are Libra rising (like Clinton, Hitler and some more). This man has Cancer rising (blue eyes and Moon face).

Thanks for the responses  The following things may be of help: 1) He lived in Spain from 13-19 years old (1961-1967). Then moved to England after that. He has lived in Canada since 1995-96. 2) No formal education between the ages of 13 and 22, saying school is a "hostile environment". He is said to have had a miserable childhood, largely because his parents constantly argued. “Even aged 10 or 11 I was trying to figure out ways I could commit suicide.” 3) None of the biographies or articles written about him mentioned anything about him ever getting married or having kids. All of them pointed to his being some sort of a hermit -- introspective and withdrawn. 4) He led a semi-reclusive life of counselling and teaching in Europe till his mid-30s, when he abandoned academia and drifted for 2 years. Lived "below poverty line" until his first book "The Power of Now" was published in 1999. 5) "He is not the kind of person who lights up a room. He's small and unpretentious looking, with hunched shoulders that convey a sense of humility. His broad face, wide upturned nostrils and narrow eyes give him an elfin look, a slightly porcine pleasantness." - from an article written about him. 6) Articles about him say his voice is gentle. One writer described his eyes as intense. Another one wrote that he "speaks slowly and softly, with a trace of a German accent that makes his English sound singsong. Aries rising...It's in his mouth, chin and eyes. I think his Taurus moon rounds out a lot of his features, but he VERY strongly resembles several men w/ prominent Aries that I know. 8th IP: Logged |

Even if he has aries rising, his mars is in leo giving him the round head. I don't know Cancer??I'll stick to cancer for the fun of it. Not 100% sure though. IP: Logged |
