I guess youre not very generous with orbs then. To me, nothing is unaspected...its just not as strong as something within closer orb.IP: Logged |

I wouldnt worry about the composite. If you have great synastry - that is by far more important.IP: Logged |

I disagree with Bucketrider, you can have AMAZING synastry with someone, but the Composite can tell the ultimate outcome of the relationship. I'll give an example, lets say 2 people are in love, but outside forces are keeping you two apart, composite charts can show that.I had a relationship with an unaspected Sun (in the Ptolemaic sense--we did have Sun conjunct Eros by 1 degree) in the composite with someone, and I never knew what this relationship was about. It's like, WE as a couple never had an identity. I was confused the entire time and eventually it drove me nuts. Sorry to be a negative nora IP: Logged |

on another note- amo- maybe theres a possibility you felt that way because of some other synastry aspect? was there any 12th house action going on? was pisces a theme in the composite? because what you described sounds sorta neptunian. IP: Logged |

oh gosh, well that explains my last relationship then! It was VERY neptunian... insanely so. I seem to attract the neptunian aspects with men - maybe i'm self-sabotaging my own success at relationships?IP: Logged |

We did have double whammy Neptune square Venus aspects. I don't think the unaspected Sun in the Composite helped. The Sun in the midpoint composite was unaspected in the 5th house and unaspected in the 12th in the Davison chart. IP: Logged |

I`m with Bucketrider on this one. Even though the composite or Davison may have some influence (jury`s out on this one still), it definitely is not the end of all or the absolute sure outcome.A comparision of natals and synastry is far more reliable. IP: Logged |

Well I'm with Bucketrider and DD. I have a shocking composite with my partner (try two t-squares one involving moon and other sun and an unaspected venus) and we've been together since 1999, with no sign of breaking up. Happily together. Yes, the situations we have been put in is pretty gruelling and challenging but overcome these situations. Our synastry is relatively good though and we get on great to overcome these difficulties. IP: Logged |

Yeah and I have unaspected venus natally. I think the unaspected venus composite doesn't affect us much. As I said, I have this natally, so I'm used to it. In synastry, I make many aspects to his venus with my planets. He does not get lonely. Oddly, he makes no aspects to my venus, except a quincunx from (believe it or not) from his unaspected mercury. I make no natal aspects to his unaspected mercury and the depositor of my venus (in sag) is jupiter and its on my asc! And what makes it worse is that he is a gemini! Sorry a bit off track there!Anyway, to get back to the start of the thread. From: http://www.cafeastrology.com/compositechart.html quote: We must pay attention to such factors as predominance or lack of aspects, and unaspected and most-aspected planets. For example, an unaspected Sun in the composite chart can indicate a feeling that the relationship lacks direction. There may be difficulty seeing where the relationship is heading, and there can even be questions as to why it exists in the first place.

Someone mentioned the outer circumstances that might prevent a relationship from happening.I think that those outer circumstances are more created or influenced by Transits or more so personal progressions. You as a person evolve and sometimes the time is just not right for a relationship to happen. But it`s not the relationship itself that prevents itself, it all comes down to the two people involved, their decisions and how much they are willing to compromise for their love. IP: Logged |

True DD. When I met my partner, his prog mars was in my 5th and trined my natal venus. We've discussed venus progressions before as being often an indicator of starting a relationship. IP: Logged |
